Funny friends, weird bikes, a few stitches and cute kittens… Summer 2026🫶🏼

A few days after surgery I was lying in bed and had a thought: bicycle wheel.

More specifically, a bicycle-powered throwing wheel.

Cycling was going to be a big part of getting my leg strong again, and I thought that if I could somehow make the bike part of my studio practice, I might actually be excited to spend some time on it.

So I messaged my very talented friend @cam_coops17 with the idea. Luckily, he is both extremely creative and very good at solving strange problems. He immediately saw what I was imagining and started figuring out how to actually make it work along with @rakshasa.customs .

A few months later, yesterday, it finally made it into the studio.

In the meantime, I found out that my ACL has failed again, which makes this slightly mad invention unexpectedly more useful than we originally thought.

This is the first time properly playing with it and I’m very curious about where it will go and how we can make the setup more ergonomic, practical and fun.

So, ceramics people, cyclists, engineers, or anyone with a idea: what should we try to make with it?

Special thanks as well to @londonbikestudio for keeping good care of it until we figured out how to get it to the studio.

9 years of LBS , 1 night to celebrate…
We danced, we laughed, we loved!
You guys are awesome! Here we go for the 10th!

A photographic note: shooting for the first time in years with the real camera, loved it! Lessons were learned, new lenses have been added to the shopping list, this one was soo tight! But still managed some good shots x

It’s not like we need an excuse to have a party…

We love seeing you lot outside the daily shop grind and this year there is a lot worth celebrating

We hit 9 years of London Bike Studio 🍻

and as Luca & Cam head off onto new adventures, we want to celebrate their time with us properly.

They have become a huge part of the LBS family, loved by us, loved by customers, and genuinely two phenomenal young people to have worked with.

Still buzzing from the weekend.

Being surrounded by so much creativity and high level of craftsmanship at @bespoked.cc was seriously inspiring, it’s moments like this that make us proud to be part of the bike industry.

We had an unreal time and somehow came away with the win at Bikepocalypse 🏆

Big love to the team @cam_coops17 @luca_premolii_ @bikemaniac._ @litnoshit for putting in the hours, making the sacrifices, and bringing the madness together.

Specially @rakshasa.customs for building that beautiful monstrosity out my old crashed @pashleycycles and an @ononebikes

And thank you to @brothercycles and to @sentient.works for the chaos and fun of Bikepocalypse.

What a weekend. More of this please.
