Another powerful Saturday Morning Forum at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition! 🗳️

As we continue our push toward the midterm elections, this weekend’s conversation reminded us that voter education is just as important as voter participation!

A special thank you to Judge Krista D. Butler, Judge Nichole Patton, and Judge Steven G. Watkins for joining us and helping our community better understand the role of our judges, the responsibilities they carry, and why these positions matter so much in our everyday lives.

We also extend our gratitude to Stevie Valles, CEO of @chicagovotes, for providing essential voter education and reminding us of the power we hold when we make our voices heard at the ballot box.

Thank you to Cameron Barnes, Rainbow PUSH National Youth Director, for sharing his vision for the upcoming GOTV tour, highlighting critical states where voter engagement and turnout will be essential this election season.

And certainly, a heartfelt thank you to Rev. Janette Wilson for providing the wisdom, perspective, and direction we need as we navigate the challenges facing our country and our world. Her words reinforced why exercising our right to vote is so important, especially during this consequential midterm election season.

The message was clear: Every election matters. Every position matters. Every vote matters.

We’re not just encouraging people to get to the polls. We’re working to ensure they understand the power of their vote and the impact it can have on generations to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! The work continues, and November 3rd is right around the corner!

There was a special energy in the room yesterday at our Saturday Morning Forum.

We laughed, we learned, we were challenged, and we walked away with plenty to think about. Most of all, it was a joy to hear so many powerful voices share what is on their hearts and remind us why this work continues to matter.

We heard from President, Yusef D. Jackson, Congressman Jonathan L. Jackson, our National Youth Director Cameron Barnes, Chicago Votes Policy Fellow Ellison Radek, and our young Morehouse scholar Jarrell David, who we are extremely proud to see growing, learning and finding his own voice as a young leader.

One of the beautiful things about Saturday Morning Forum is that you never quite know what word, story or moment is going to stay with you after you leave. Yesterday gave us plenty of those moments.

Thank you to everyone who spoke, everyone who came through our doors, and everyone who continues to make Saturday mornings at PUSH feel like family.

We’ll see you at the next one!

The midterms are getting closer, and this Saturday we’re bringing the conversation home to Rainbow PUSH.

Join President, Yusef D. Jackson for a special Saturday Morning Forum focused on GOTV: The Midterm Moment and what it means to stay informed, engaged and involved in the decisions being made in our communities.

Cameron Barnes, National Youth Director, will break down local elections and take a closer look at key battleground states across the country.

Ellison Radek, Policy Fellow at Chicago Votes, will join the conversation to talk about the importance of youth participation and the role young voters can play in shaping their communities.

We want this to be a real conversation about what’s happening, what’s at stake in the elections ahead and how we make sure people have the information they need to participate.

Saturday, October 3, 2026

Program Begins: 10:00 AM

The next generation has a voice, and that voice matters.

We heard from Rainbow PUSH National Youth Director Cameron Barnes on the importance of young people understanding the power of their vote, staying engaged and making sure their voices are part of the conversations shaping our future.

Cameron also reflected on the Transformative Justice Coalition’s Voting Rights Champion Awards Reception during #ALC55 and the continued work happening around voting rights, civic engagement and empowering the next generation.

We’re proud to have young leaders helping carry this work forward.

We Are Progressing While Prophesying Through the Week

When God brings it back together, don’t stay silent—speak to the atmosphere and let it know the situation has changed!

Before you ask God to move you out of a difficult place, consider this: what if the situation you’re praying to escape is the very thing God is using to elevate you?

Some situations aren’t meant to take you out—they’re meant to take you to the next level.

We’re still carrying this word from Minister @camb.8

✨ YOUTH SUNDAY RECAP ✨

What a Sunday! 🙌🏾💜 Our young people showed up, served, worshiped, and SHINED! We are so proud of each of them and grateful for every opportunity to celebrate and pour into the next generation.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Minister Cameron Barnes @camb.8 , for delivering a powerful word and reminding us to prophesy to our future—speaking life, purpose, and God’s promises over what’s ahead. 🗣️🔥

Our youth aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they are an important part of what God is doing right now, and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for them!
