Boelo Bliss

A visit down to the coast this morning, welcoming Storm Boelo as high tide and high winds combined for some great conditions

Earlier this year at my charity event with Iolo Williams, we were raising as much money as we could for an awesome rewilding project here in Wales, Tir Natur
As part of the auction Gigrin Farm (The Red Kite Centre) kindly donated the use of their prime photography hide for me to host a group, who bid in the auction for their places.
So we arranged it for today, hoping to have some beautiful sunshine and autumn colours as the backdrop. It wasn’t quite as sunny as hoped for, but still some nice light and awesome Kite action for them to photograph.
My sincere thanks to Dominique at the farm, and to the group who very kindly donated to the charity to join me today.
A few of the images I took with them today….
Taken with an OM system OM1 mkii and 150-400mmf4.5 lens !!! More on this later 😉

Life’s a Beach

Some days you have just hit different to others, today was one of them
Watching squalls of rain pass in front out to sea and seeing them pass behind and not getting wet
Autumn clouds and light are just the best when it comes to seascapes
Just a few from today great weather from Talacre beach

This part of Eryri (Snowdonia) feels pretty otherworldly and even eerie. Especially with the rivers in full flow and a bit of atmosphere hanging around.

The Desert Piano

At @outpost.x there is a piano in the middle of a desert 🤯
Before we arrived here I had this image planned with Orion and the Zodiacal Light
If you ever find yourself like us looking for a stop gap from Death Valley to Arches national park make this a destination to stop over
My imagination got to run wild and I got to release my inner child 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤘🤘

Talacre
Too the few who watched my waffling and my questionable videography as i made my way to Talacre beach yesterday evening , here are the results of the conditions i was getting exited about
Lovely soft light dramatic dark clouds and a bit of panic turn out rather decent
I will try and bring you along on my photography outing from now on in even if i hate my own voice but ill suck it up so you can join me on my outings and see why i love photography so much
Disclaimer there might be some swearing so please dont get offended 🤣🤣🤣
Till the next time Au revoir !!

World Photography Day

A selection of images that always brings back fond memories to me , photography changed my focus in life and made the person I am today
Photography gave me a fresh perspective on life and helped me drive my passion of creativity , adventure and gave me a place of calm
I’ll never forget the day I picked up my first camera and had that first hyper focus moment to learn and to drive the passion of adventure and capturing moments

What an experience this evening! In the UK we got about 92% totality and it was incredible to see. The clouds did their best to obscure the view but at exactly 19:12 the sun poked out from behind the clouds to show maximum coverage.

Eclipse

Awesome evening shooting the partial eclipse
A last minute change of plan was the last thing but with a little patience we got there
2 images of the eclipse here in Flintshire from us , big love to my wife @adventure.nightscapes for getting me lined up looking majestic with some insane star burst that blew my mind
All in all a very enjoyable experience
