Shaboozey part deux!

Washington, DC @theanthemdc, our last show on @shaboozey’s @theoutlawtour 🥀

My friend Shaboozey is an inspiring connector of people from all walks of life. The band and I are grateful to have had the opportunity to ride alongside him and his bootcut band of outlaws the past couple of weeks and experience their show and vision in all of its glory each night. We got to sing “When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” by my favorite artist Gillian Welch together a few of the nights and walk on stage through a cloud of smoke, talk about a cherry on top. We drove all through the nights and again in the mornings most days. We sang our hearts out! We played a set of songs that have mostly never seen the light of day. I will hold the memories dear forever!

Thank you SO much to my band and crew of cowboys for everything ❤️‍🔥⛓️‍💥 🏇

Extra special non-musical nonsense @thebvj with @noelinehofmann. The wind damn near tore our dang skin off. It was our darling @keetykeetkeet ‘s last one before heading back to the Scholar Factory. We couldn’t play the big ol’ stage due to wild weather, but @duelingpianokings graciously lent us the stage to make up for it. Very special times 🇨🇦 🧁 💨 📜
