trăng qua release show dump 🌙🦋

feeling extremely lucky to work and learn within the DIY art scene here, at a time when we are experiencing such a raw and lovely era in global electronic music💎

also feeling lucky to organize with different collectives bc it allows me to practice a grassroots mindset - finding ways to make things work w your peers, creating space for the things we want to see exist, and building alternatives to larger structures that don’t serve us 🌱🤍

shoutout to all the diy communities out there (especially qtpoc-led ones) who keep building these little life-affirming ecosystems, inspiring us to build our own, outside of centralized systems! 🧱

anyways i’m soon off to hungary and vietnam for a few months🧚🏼, so here are some dates you can catch me dj in town before🪩:

if u wanna shake your booty with me and my hot wlw angels, come to our @angel__x__angel halloween fundraiser party at @bar.jade.bk jade on 10/31!🪽

and if u wanna vinahey with @vuivefest SEA baddies spinning while eating yummy, join us at @trans.pecos on 11/6! 🐲

1 week until the release show under a new moon 🌙 🌑 about the artists joining me ✨➡️

Anya Trần is a Brooklyn based multimedia artist originally from Moscow with Vietnamese roots. Steeped in a rigorous classical piano background, she shifted her focus to the theremin, embracing a direct, almost tactile encounter with sound that breaks free from traditional constraints. This time Anya invites Olya F - a dear friend of hers and also a ballet-trained dancer. Together they bring an immersive performance where sound, visuals, and movement collapse into a single gesture.

Sylvia Ke thinks of her compositions as transcripts of dialogues between spirits and memories. She writes with self-made instruments as pen heat from her skin as ink. Her recent project is a sonic guidebook to a maze, dug under the landfill of what was left behind.

Lee Lillis is a NYC/DC-based lighting and sound designer with a passion for merging art and technology in order to create new theatrical experiences. A firm believer in the power of collaboration, Lee strives to be an involved member of the artistic process, working with his peers to build worlds that challenge the boundaries of what theatre can become.

Cam Dasher is a Multi-Disciplinary Designer and Engineer based in Brooklyn, New York, working in the Theatrical and Live Events industries. They are interested in exploring the intersection between the experimental and the accessible, and enjoy meshing the past, present, and future of design and engineering to time travel.

can’t wait to see you all 🦋🦋🦋

🌕trăng qua - live: sept 11 in bedstuy🌕

i’m hosting an intimate gathering/ album release show with some friends and artists i love ♡

it’s happening on the evening of the new moon, and instead of the club atmosphere you’ve been seeing me perform in recently, we’re going somewhere a little more introspective and immersive.

i’ll be bringing some drumless + slowed-down versions of my songs, alongside ambient audiovisual performances from some incredible artists.

i made some tshirts for the first time that will be for sale there ^^
