Kicking off the Sweet Sixteen celebrations with our girls ♥️

I genuinely cannot believe we are here, but somehow all my babies are turning SIXTEEN over the next six months, starting tomorrow with @addyson.guyton 🫶🏻

For their 13th birthdays, I gave each of them a special keepsake of their own - and somehow, three years later, Addy happened to be wearing hers tonight while opening the first gift of her Sweet Sixteen. 🥹😭 Talk about a full-circle mom moment.

So, naturally, I had to kick off 16 with another necklace but this time, a matching one for the girls. ♥️ Their little Drill Team boots felt especially perfect for this season of their lives: all turning 16, all dancing together at EDC, and all getting to support each other on Drill Team. A little keepsake to remember this chapter and the friendships growing right alongside them.

They’ll each get something special from me on their actual birthdays, but I wanted them to have one thing that belonged to all of them as we kick off this season of celebrating our girls. 🥹♥️

Happy almost Sweet Sixteen, Addy! The first one up! 🎂🫶🏻

I love you girls more than you know. Watching you grow up is equal parts beautiful and completely unacceptable. 😭♥️

My daughter and I had a truly meaningful time today supporting @camelaguyton and First Lady Kendra White at their Joint Book Signing & Meet the Author Brunch! It blessed my heart to be there 🖤.

We were able to get our signed copies of Quiet Power: The Get‑Back Is Grace and Walk That Walk, and we enjoyed some amazing food at @tater_que while soaking in the fellowship and the love in the room🫶🏾.

If you haven’t already, make sure you get your copies. These books are filled with faith, hope, and wisdom that speak to every season of life!
