As a millennial girl from a small town, moments like this still feel a little unreal. ✨ One minute I was walking through Paris, thinking I was going to dinner with a friend who had traveled from far away just to spend some time together, @masha_rusnak ✨🫂

The next, I was standing in front of the Louvre, completely shocked, wearing a veil and surrounded by women who had secretly organized a bachelorette party to celebrate with me. This evening reminded me of something so simple, yet so important:

Life is really about people. ❤️

The people who remember, who care, who show up.
The women who celebrate your happiness as if it were their own. The women who make impossible plans happen just to see you smile.

I will never forget how loved I felt that night. Thank you, my Parisian girlhood. 🤍✨

Big thanks for my lovely @samosha.olga for the place like @cafe_marly , @masha_rusnak and every girl yesterday !

4 years ago today, I left my home with my daughter and stepped into the unknown. I was 27. It wasn’t a light decision. It came from necessity, from hope, and from the belief that a different life was possible for us. I didn’t know what the future would look like-only that I just had to try.

Marking that day in mind every time bringing a mix of things today : pride for what you’ve managed to do, maybe grief for what was left behind, and uncertainty about what comes next.

These years have not been easy. Fast emigration teaches you strength you didn’t ask for. It reshapes you, tests you, and sometimes breaks you-but it also rebuilds you. It changed me in ways I can’t fully describe.. Some days I felt strong. Some days just very tired.

A lot of it is invisible-
loneliness, starting from zero, new languages, missing people, places and a life that no longer exists. It’s also endless online calls. Watching your parents get older without you. Some things are still hard. Probably always will be.
But it’s also strength. It’s choosing to move forward even when it’s hard. How to hold on -
to your new life, to new love, to new people, to pièces of light and beauty in simple things everywhere around you now.

I still carry hope. Hope that one day, no one will have to leave their home without returning. Hope that our children will grow up in a world that chooses Peace.

Until then, we keep going. 🤍🫂
