Happy Sunday! Yesterday 3 of our male students (Cameron, Maximus and Cillian) took part in the English National Ballet School Boys Day. The participants received a tour of the building, got introduced to the “ENBS warm up” before class and took part in a 90 minutes ballet class and 45 minutes repertoire class led by Michael Berkin who is the First Year Men’s Ballet Tutor at ENBS. The day finished with a Q&A which was very informative and interesting! The participant (guests) were joined in class by the first and second year male students at ENBS which was a great opportunity! I was also personally invited to observe the day and on arrival was invited to observe the end of the first and second year ENBS ladies Saturday class and was of course beaming with pride seeing our former student who we prepared for upper school auditions last year @elsiejoy_pinder 🥹 Overall an amazing day at @enbschool! The staff were all super friendly and we can’t wait to continue to prepare students to audition and hopefully join ENBS in years to come! One very important # to describe yesterday and it’s #boysdancetoo !!! So many talented young dancers attended yesterday and the future of boys in ballet is looking very bright 👍 🎥 Our Students @cameron.cc6 @maximusanderson_dancer and @cillianharms as seen on the videos from the @enbschool Instagram account. @blommaertballetschool
