POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🖇️ the diner diaries 🫐 🧈
since it’s been a month since @waitressau sadly but sweetly closed in australia, a little digi scrapbook to remember all the beautiful memories had with this show.
i have absolutely dreaded making this post & having to officially say goodbye to a show that means so so much to me. for years & years if anyone asked me what show i wanted to come to australia the most, it was always waitress. it was the loooooooongest wait but a wait that i’ll happily go through all over again just to see it one more time. although i wish the time with this show was longer, i am so incredibly lucky & grateful to have been able to see it as many times as i did and will always go back to these memories on the dark days.
the biggest gratitude hug to the entire cast for telling this beautiful story & for bringing the biggest joy 🌟
and of course couldn’t thank @anniealisonaitken @natbassingthwaighte @mackenzieannedunn & @gabriyel.thomas for bringing these characters that are so close to my heart to life 🫀
so special to me forever, LOVING this show ALWAYS 🔒 🥧 🌙

A night at the diner for @waitressau

Some special artistic moments captured backstage for the final week of the Waitress Australia tour at Melbourne's @hmt_melb

There's something sacred about being backstage of a large theatre, capturing the quiet and the courageous acts and scenes in a show. I was lucky to get the opportunity to witness these moments, with some of Australia's best talent on stage, side stage, and backstage.

As a photographer, it doesn't get much better than this.

From an emotional final show to two birthdays (cheers Ally and Keanu) and an unlikely AFL win (looking at you John X), it was a huge day for the cast of @waitressau for their Melbourne closing!

One final thank you to everyone, this past three months has been an experience that will stay with me forever 🥧❤️

“Thanks for taking me to the Moon, Moonpie” 🥧🌙

Sending a huge Happy Closing to the incredible company of @waitressau. Words can’t begin to express how grateful I am for this team. It truly has been the most incredible honor to have been a part of this Australian Premier and to have baked up so much love and joy on this journey ; with these beautiful humans. Proud of each and every one of these beautiful humans, on and off the stage, and forever grateful for the opportunity to share this beautiful story! Nothing to prove everything to share.
