POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

September🍁Overcame three different additions, got a NEW Apartment and gained a roommate, joined a Christmas CHIOR, did a staged reading play, and completed physical media CHALLENGE

**Additions Overcome! Quit soda cold Turkey starting Sept 1! (Anyone who lives in Utah knows this is a real issue here lol) this has made a huge impact in my overall mood, heath, skin and tiredness!
2 and 3 can be somewhat combined, September we did a PHYSICAL MEDIA CHALLENGE: no streaming, no Spotify or Apple Music, no social media, no online video games etc. Only intaking physical media, dvds, CDs, AND you can only intake what you can fit in an 11X11 box for the whole month!
This challenge was to be intentional about the media consumed.
The actual addiction I had to 1: Social media (lover of doom scrolling😉) and 2: Online Media (games, tv, news etc) was overwhelming and debilitating. This was a very hard addition to overcome.
(More Info on this if you are interested below lol***)
Joined a Christmas choir called Haven it’s wonderful and so fun! Did a staged reading for someone’s thesis! This was something I had never done! So fun and challenging!
Moving apartments! Text me if you need my new address lol, we didn’t move far!
I’m so excited for our next adventures in October 🎃👻💀💕🎃

***more info-Main Takeaways: I highly recommend taking a social media break, this was so hard. I realized how bad it was on DAY 1! You can see I stated “I can’t watch tik tok in the SHOWER!” Lol 😂 I also think many of us scroll on Netflix for hours deciding to watch. Doing the physical media challenge really helped! Watching DVDs, listening to CDs really grew my appreciation for music movies! There is hundreds of movies on my “watch list” and I ACTUALLY watched them! Overall I am so grateful to know and remember I can do hard things! I am so proud! And so grateful I have a support system to challenge and push me to be better!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Our Town or just need a refresher on the characters of the play, take a look at this scrap book! The amazing thing about Corner’s Grove is that we only focus on the younger generation of the town and how the world affects them and how they’ll affect the world.

Our Second Act of players.

A modern adaptation of Our Town by Thornton Wilder, this play follows a group of young people in the town of Corner’s Grove from high school into adulthood as they deal with leaving home, falling in love, gender identity, and death. It’s a story about growing up and hometowns, friendship and drinking in parking lots.
