John 13:34-35 ““A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

This summer was a beautiful one. God was moving in so many ways and all throughout this island everyday and his presence was felt! Thank you to all the people that I have met along the way who have grown me and have loved me so well! Praise the Lord for another summer full of bringing others closer to him and another summer full of growth! I love this place and I never want to go ❤️

The joy of the Lord was, is, and will ever be my strength

TYJ for Canaan and all that the Lord has done in and through me here. These past 3 years have been filled with so much joy, laughter, love, gratitude, dancing, MURDA, crash outs, growth, wake up calls, creating new dances, and so so so much more. This island means so much to me and will always have a place in my heart and life forever, and who knows maybe one day I’ll be back (please oh please). The Lord has blessed me with beautiful friendships that will last a lifetime, campers I got to love and pour into, so much discipleship all around, people who have pushed me to grow into a better version of myself and my relationship with the Lord. Canaan has thought me how to be a better servant leader, to take care of myself, to ask for help, take my breaks, ask for breaks, but more than that I’ve learned how great and beautiful the Lord is and His love for me is, I’ve learned true joy and that it is my strength to get through each day and every moment. Thank you Canaan for all you have done, thank you to all who has made these past 3 years so memorable and, allowing me to have and make an impact that I did.

I love all you guys

Almost a year ago, the Lord provided me with the courage to reach out about Camp Canaan and how I can grow in my faith. He showed me how genuine and supportive a person can be. I was so new to learning about who the Lord is and what He provides. I’ve always had this constant desire to draw near the Lord, despite how I grew up, so being given the opportunity to surround myself with those like-minded was something I never thought would happen. I am forever thankful for those who exemplified that Christ-like love. The decision to be baptized is something that has been weighing on my chest for a while now, and being at Canaan showed me that this decision was right for me. I have never felt more steady in my faith and I do not see myself leaving the Lord behind. I now truly understand what it means to accept the Lord and to understand the price He payed on the cross. I want to thank everyone who played a role in my walk with God. I give full praise to the Lord in all and for answering my prayer to be a CIT this summer. I am filled with joy in proclaiming my faith and I understand that I cannot do anything without the Lord.

“You were all baptized into Christ, and so you were all clothed with Christ. This shows that you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two. 🤍🤍
