It was a great weekend for the Hornets!

We started the weekend up in Boston with Chasen Hunt running a top 10 all time 3k mark of 8:02 to qualify him for the national meet. Alex Jordan followed it up with a huge performance of his own running 14:11 and setting a new school indoor record! His time puts him 9th in the country as well! We also had big miles races and PB’s from Jack Weddle (4:14) and Josh Fretwell (4:16 unattached), and a nice 800 from Ryan Warner running 1:55!

Back closer to home the squad was at both Liberty and Roanoke.

At Liberty Cam Sidebotham and Mercer Alden both ran very solid 3k’s to set them up well for the conference meet!

Most of our squad was over at Roanoke where our women had an amazing day, we had some amazing races with Winter Tietjen dropping a massive mile PB of 5:18 top put her second in the conference and Delaney Saulsbury running a over 20 second PB of 10:22 to put her first in the conference! We also had great performances from Aidan Riggle who won the mile in 4:25, Annalise Williams who ran a great 800 (2:30) and Justin Park and Joey John who went 1-2 in heat 2 of the 800 running 2:01 and 2:02!

Next up ODAC’S!!!
