Mon amour, mon cœur.
Les papillons à Bordeaux 🦋

It’s been over five years since I last visited Bordeaux, and this weekend, on a complete whim, my best friends and I decided to change that. A spontaneous trip—just us, no big plans—just the city, the memories, and two papillons à Bordeaux.

It filled my heart with love.

Being back here felt surreal. Memories I hadn’t thought about in ages suddenly came alive again, as if they’d been waiting for me to return. But what made it even more special was seeing Bordeaux through new eyes. We’ve all changed so much over the years, yet somehow, the connection with our friends here hasn’t. It felt like no time had passed—as if we had just seen each other yesterday. Nothing about us, or the way we are together, has changed, and that’s something so rare and beautiful.

It was a reminder of how much joy there is in reconnecting, how some relationships remain steady no matter how much time or distance separates us. Bordeaux is not just a city—it’s a piece of my heart, and I feel so blessed to have experienced it again with the people I love most.

Bordeaux, I needed you 🤍

Once, when talking to @gour.mode I said “I don’t feel Milano is my city”. Thank god I took Clara’s advice of exploring the city...
Well, and now I am almost in love, but not yet 😂
