“You rub my belly… then call me a little potato? In front of the family?” 🤌🐾😂 Lilo would like a formal apology, a treat, and a little respect for her position as head of this household. Tiny Boston Terrier. Big boss energy. Very sensitive about the potato comments. 🥔💀 Does your dog run the family, too? Follow for more of Lilo’s negotiations. 👀 #BostonTerrier #BostonTerrierLife #FunnyDogs #DogHumor #PuppyLife

I make the latte. My oldest daughter makes Dad look good. ☕️🎥❤️ Come behind the bar with me at Backyard Brew! From steaming the milk and checking the temperature to cleaning and purging the steam wand, the little details matter. Then comes the final pour—and TK’s “infamous” latte art. 😂🤎 A big shout-out to my oldest daughter for filming! She captured the process beautifully, and I’m one proud dad. 🫶 What would you like to see me make next? Small business owner. VERY large job description. 😂☕️ Roaster, janitor, photographer, shopper, inventory manager, video editor… apparently “owner” was just the short version. 🤣 Every hat comes back to the same goal: taking care of our guests, our Brew Crew, and the shop we love. 🤎 Every visit, kind word, and shared post makes this journey that much sweeter. Thank you for being part of it! Your next fall drink has a plot twist: cheesecake. 🎃🍰 Charlotte, meet the fall specials at Backyard Brew: 🎃 Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake — a creamy, cheesecake-inspired flavor for your latte, matcha, or chai. Different from our Pumpkin Spice! The cheesecake base contains dairy, even with alternative milk. 🍎 Apple Pie — we’re making this syrup with apples, cinnamon, vanilla, and organic cane sugar. Find it as a chai or matcha. Curious about an Apple Pie latte? Ask us! My recommendation? Order these at least HALF SWEET, anywhere from half sweet to full sweet, to get the full flavor experience. 🤎 Want more OOMPH? The flavor and sweetness are combined in these syrups, so a bolder flavor means a sweeter drink, too. You can order less sweet, but the pumpkin cheesecake or apple pie flavor will be milder. Tell us what you enjoy, and we’ll help you find your balance! And yes, my engineering background means taste testing comes with a sample-size requirement. 😂 — TK Which combination are you trying first? Tell us your flavor AND your drink: latte, matcha, or chai. 👇 📍 Backyard Brew • Dilworth, Charlotte Find “Fall Specials” on our online menu. #BackyardBrew #CharlotteCoffee #CharlotteFoodie #FallDrinks #PumpkinCheesecake

We spend so much time thinking about where we want to be. But there’s joy right here—in a good cup of coffee, a familiar face, a conversation that makes your day. At Backyard Brew, those moments are part of the dream, too. Keep growing. Keep going. Enjoy what’s brewing along the way. Since 1997 we've been helping people settle into the Carolinas with short-term housing they can trust, now we finally have a brand that looks like the care we've always put into the work. This rebrand isn't about changing who we are, it's about making sure our name reflects it: a hospitality-first partner who walks every unit, checks every detail, and treats every guest like they matter, because they do. You'll still get the same family-owned and operated team, the same standards, and the same 24/7 reliability you've always been able to count on. We're proud to step into this next chapter, and even more excited for you to be part of it. 👉🏽 Ready to relocate? Let's talk.
