We live in a world where technology connects us more than ever, yet genuine human connection is becoming increasingly scarce. Never have we been so connected through screens, yet felt so profoundly alone.

Perhaps that is why we are rediscovering something technology can never replace: the extraordinary power of community and shared human experiences.

And that is precisely what I found at @masterhub_latam . A beautiful community of colleagues hungry for knowledge, but equally passionate about experiencing it together.

When I created THRILLER, and now its sequel, ZOMBIE BOY, I knew I was taking a risk. Bringing theatrical performance, music, dance, storytelling, and science together challenges conventional academic expectations.

But I believe education should do more than inform. It should awaken curiosity, stimulate emotions, engage every sense, and transform complex scientific concepts into unforgettable experiences.

I call it VISCERAL LEARNING.

These productions come at a personal cost. Countless hours of creativity, preparation, financial investment, and yes, occasionally facing the judgment of academic arrogance.

But I embrace that price because I believe that when we teach, we should give more than our knowledge. We should give something of ourselves.

For those few minutes, I give my science, imagination, vulnerability, and essence, hoping to create a connection that remains long after the lecture ends.

Brazil…

A land of breathtaking beauty where vibrant cities, striking architecture, and effortless fashion coexist with some of the warmest souls on Earth. A country filled with joy, laughter, and a spirit that seems to dance through every street.

Home to the Amazon, the great lungs of our planet, where extraordinary flora and fauna remind us of nature’s boundless creativity and power.

And then there is the food.

Food so rich in flavor, culture, and love that even someone devoted to a disciplined life of paleo nutrition, intermittent fasting, and caloric restraint finds himself surrendering willingly to temptation. Resistance becomes a theoretical concept, especially when accompanied by friends who know exactly where the most unforgettable meals are hidden @miguelcpierre @dramaricorrea

Which leaves me and @camilpics with one lingering question:

How, in the name of all things possible, do Brazilians manage to look so good with food this delicious everywhere you turn?

Perhaps the answer is simple. They nourish themselves not only with remarkable food, but with friendship, laughter, passion, movement, sunshine, and a love for life that is impossible not to feel.

In the magical town of Villa de Leyva, Colombia, I had the privilege of experiencing something truly special.

My dear friend Camilo unveiled his exhibition “El espíritu de las cosas” (The Spirit of Things) a collection where art feels alive.

Through his avant-garde kinetic technique, each piece moves, breathes, and carries a presence that goes far beyond what hangs on a wall. It feels as if the works themselves are telling their own story.

The collection was extraordinary.
The venue was stunning.
And Villa de Leyva with its timeless colonial beauty and rich history, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening where art, place, and spirit converged.

Moments like these remind me how powerful creativity can be.
