Lubbock, be good to my boy. ❤️

He’s officially all moved in, set up, and ready to take on this next big adventure. And this momma heart is wrecked. 🥹❤️

There’s something so bittersweet about raising your children to be strong, independent, and ready to take on the world… and then actually having to watch them go do it.

I’m going to miss having him close more than I can put into words, but I am just so incredibly proud of the young man he has become. I know God has big plans for him, and I can’t wait to watch this next chapter unfold.

We raised them for such a time as this. Now we trust God with the rest. ❤️

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24–26 🙏🏼

Go do big things, son.
Lubbock, take care of my boy. ❤️🤍

Happy birthday to a man who does so much that so many will never know. ❤️

As we’ve talked about so many times, you’re now living a life in your 40s that you never could have imagined for yourself. Married to the best there is (me, obviously 😂), a father to three incredible kids, three dogs, two chickens, and a plethora of animals still to come.

You’ve built a career to be proud of and lived adventures that others only dream about. But more than any of that, I’m grateful for the life we’ve built together and for another year around the sun by your side.

Here’s to this year and so many more to come. I love you, Brandon Scott❤️

“Our family story is a story of redemption. It’s proof that God’s promises are sure and true, that forgiveness, love, and healing, with His grace mixed in, can build a family and a legacy for years to come.”

Tonight was one of those moments I never want to forget.

As many of you know, our family is building a new home. More than just a house, this will be a place where memories are made, holidays are celebrated, grandchildren gather, and generations come home.

This evening, before the front steps are poured tomorrow, we took a family Bible to the property. Inside are the names of each member of our family. We stood together on the doorstep, prayed over this home, and then buried that Bible beneath the front entry.

For us, this was a symbol that the foundation of our home is built on God’s Word. Every person who enters our home will cross over that foundation, and we pray they experience His peace, love, grace, and presence within these walls.

As we prayed, I couldn’t help but think of God’s promises in Scripture:

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” — Numbers 6:24-26

And from Deuteronomy, God’s promise that we are blessed when we come in and blessed when we go out.

Our prayer is simple: May this home always honor Him. May it be a place of refuge, laughter, discipleship, hospitality, and love. May everyone who walks through the door know they are welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Tonight reminded me that while we’re building a house, God is building something so much greater.

Magical days. California. The people who challenge you to be better and then celebrate you like crazy when you are. 🏰✨

Place is a business partner that knows how to throw an event. What I can tell you is it didn’t feel like work. It felt like a homecoming to all of your favorite people.

Day two, Disneyland 🏰✨
There’s something about being in a place built entirely on the belief that if you can dream it, you can do it that hits different when you’re surrounded by people who actually live that way.

Day three, Rise takes California Adventure. 🎢🎡
Walt: “First, think. Then dream. Then dare. Then do.”

Three days with the right people looks exactly like that. Napkin goals. Late-night belly laughs. Dreams with zero ceiling. People who hold you to the thing you said out loud.

Partnerships that call you to RISE are rare. Protect them. Chase them. Say YES to the work. Then say YES to the trip.

If you’re in real estate doing it alone, you genuinely don’t have to be. This is what it looks like when community is the whole strategy.

Home now. Full heart. Already building. ✨
