I started my college career at San Diego Miramar College, and my college journey has had a lot of ups and downs, with many good and bad experiences along the way. At first, I didn’t believe I could earn a bachelor’s degree because of my ADHD and learning disabilities. After switching through 3 different majors, I finally found my path and was set on biotechnology. Eventually, I pushed through the challenges, and had friends who encouraged me to keep going and believe that I could do it. Looking back, I’m truly grateful because this journey led me to people and experiences I never would have had otherwise. I wouldn’t have met the amazing people from my research lab, CSUSM Powerlifting, and all the connections I made across the university. One of my biggest accomplishments was earning 1st and 2nd place medals at the 2025 and 2026 CNATs with CSUSM Powerlifting. I’m thankful for everyone who supported me along the way, especially my day one homies who have been there through it all. I’m happy to announce that I already got into the biotech industry as a Biotechnology Manufacturing II. Truly blessed, future here I come. #graduation #endofanera #newchapter #motivated #csusmalumni
