Thank you God🙏

Becoming a dentist has been a goal of mine for over a decade, and by the grace of God, I’m one step closer. This journey hasn’t been easy; self- doubt, imposter syndrome, and even thoughts of quitting crossed my mind, but God quieted those fears and carried me through.

My mom has been my rock through it all. She made endless sacrifices, believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and encouraged me to keep going when failure felt like an option. I truly wouldn’t be here without her.

The countless hours spent in the library, the setbacks, and the sacrifices along this journey have all been worth it. I’m beyond blessed to say I’ll be attending Meharry Medical College: School of Dentistry, taking another step toward joining the 3.8% of black dentists in this country!🦷
