Just Keep Moving is thrilled to finally host Brighton royalty, Dykes on Decks and Camp Kindred co-founder Alex Berry. Alex is truly one of Brighton’s best, most influential and esteemed DJs, having supported the likes of Paul van Dyk, Narciss, Malugi, Romy and Michelle Manetti. With a deep collection of house, electro, acid and trance ranging the 90s to now, Alex Berry is a dream fit for Just Keep Moving, and we can’t wait for her to bring the house down from 00:00–01:30 this Friday 30th January at The Waterbear.

2025, you were pure magic ✨ We danced with @javani_brown , stepped into our first outdoor festival (thank you @camp_kindred 💛), we joined our first fundraising event, we also hosted 3 corporate events that helped us donate to @translegalclinic , massive thanks to @zinc.media.group @automata.tech @workdotlife . We also had a private hire for @youronlysonshine ‘s birthday and collaborated with the most incredible creatives who invited us into their universes. @eline_prs , @simonjames__ , @glimourqueen , @princeofbattenberg , @montaneramusica , @themanuelaalegria , @xeongrace , @j.a.knibbs , @paper.matt , @mistress.qt , @annaareyou_ok , @anadellor , @tailortress , @frankbertoletti , @nyongbella_ , @marianasbits , @lara_goo @michaeltomlinsonphotography , @pyroquinn and so many more. We had the most incredible time at Camp Kindred back in July, running our Community Zine collage workshop! All the collages in this post were created at the inaugural Camp Kindred gathering in July 2025. Participants were encouraged to let their inner child run free - cutting and sticking to their heart’s content - creating something that reflected their experiences of queerness and community, incorporating the event’s theme: The Elements—Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air. We attended Grace Goslin (@areola_grande_latte) and Liv Wynter’s (@livwynter) talk on Abolition in the Queer Archive, where they shared pieces of queer history from the archives which really highlighted to us the importance of creating art as a community, and documenting queer joy. In the spirit of this, this zine serves as a record of the joy experienced at Camp Kindred this year. There was an incredible range of talent and creativity on show over the weekend, and we would love to expand the zine next year to incorporate works from other sessions and in other mediums. Huge thanks to everyone who participated and to @camp_kindred for having us! 🔥

Looking back on 2025 one of our proudest projects was designing and dressing our many installations @camp_kindred 🔥 . It was a massive undertaking for us, but with the help of our incredible team of volunteers we made it happen! Thankyou to @camp_kindred for having us on board it was truly an honour! Here is a round up of everything we created: . 👁️👄👁️ THE CAMP KINDRED SPIRIT: a huge installation which was the meeting point in the centre of the festival. In which the opening ceremony was held and a host of workshops and gatherings happened across the weekend. . 🔥🌊🌿💨 THE ELEMENTALS : dance tent which we dressed with elemental god heads, each designed by the 4 elements. This space was so much fun to create, and hosted a ton of incredible DJs and events including the elementals pageant to end the festival. . 🪩🪩 TITS UP BAR : a saucy secret bar hidden up in the tree house boardwalk. We loved creating this little hidden surprise for people to find whilst they explored the site. . 🌲✨HAUS OF TREES: the acoustic main stage, this was the setting for a ton of amazing gigs at evening time, with @anadellor opening as the first act of the festival. And a calming fun space for morning yoga and dance classes in the daytime! . 🎭✂️ we also hosted our FIRST ever workshop! At the Forge tent, where festival friends came along and created their own element inspired crowns and masks! . @camp_kindred was a JOYFUL, CREATIVE PLAYGROUND of UNRESTRICTED EXPRESSION. A QUEER UTOPIA that we are eternally proud to have played a part in creating! . Massive thankyou to our small but mighty team of helpers, could not have realised our big plans for this project without your hard work @orange_ashleigh @dr_rattus_rattus @theopenpresshastings @joshanapem @_jessicaamd ❤️‍🔥

2025 you were quite the year. Thanks to everyone who made it so. Thanks to everyone who danced with us, booked us, loved us, grieved with us, supported us, loved us, held us, connected us, stopped and said hello to us, fed us, fed Arnie and Barbra, gardened with us, laughed with us, protested with us, Charleston-ed with us, swam with us, made endless coffee shop coffees for us, dressed up with us and giggled with us. I was very lucky to be part of a lot of cool exhibitions, events and things in 2025. I thought rather than admonish myself for not doing enough (thanks Capitalism!) why not jump on the bandwagon and do an art wrap up? 1: Experimental digital collage featuring textures from 3d scans of other peoples’ precious stones 2: Tiny test book of ‘Arcana’- an archipelago inspired by the tarot deck I made whilst ill in January 3: My film installation ‘a stone circle for the future’ as part of @toadlickerscollective’s amazing ‘Folklore’ exhibition. 4-5: ‘Future stones’ - a community-built, temporary stone circle or stories and memories made during my residency at @fabricagallery 6: ‘a world in a sauna’ - film created during a month in residence at @yo.yo.yard 7: Showing ‘Guts (the enchanted forest)’ at @unit2stleonards as part of the group show ‘Home Bodies’ 8-9: ‘a stone circle for the (queer) future’- an installation which came alive at night as a quiet, sensory space for queers at the inaugural and magical @camp_kindred ! 10: Playing guitar in @notyetarobot’s (award-winning!) show ‘No Apologies’, which previewed in Brighton then two full band shows at @edfringe @summerhallarts 11-18: Rounded off the year with the 6 week @heimaqueerresidency in #seyðisfjörður, East Iceland with a group of wonderful people. Marvelled at (and made artworks about) rocks and waterfalls, created my first live projections during our fjord rave, and projected some poetry in the swimming pool (Takk @sundholl!) We ran a town pageant, and visited an archaeological site in the town. Whilst there I had my sauna film shown as part of the @flatearthcinema festival- the best experimental film fest in the world! I also slept a lot and I think I’m still feeling the benefits of that now. Rest is important! I’m a couple of months away from a whole year of being flare up free from my chronic health condition, and I’m doing my utmost to listen to my body. Resting when I need, weekly sauna-ing, etc. On arriving back from Iceland I started 2 new jobs whilst flat hunting (!) so I’ve been having a very quiet and chilled winter break in yet another new flat to recover from being so uprooted. More soon! ✨
