We are asking all friends of Camp I Am Special to ensure the spirit of camp is continued this year and beyond by contributing to our Camp Again Fund. Your gift will help our staff provide engaging, interactive programming for our Campers this year – both virtually and during our Social Saturdays scheduled for the fall.
Our team is also aware that times are tough economically for many, which is why we developed another way you can show your support of our Campers this year. Becoming a pen pal is fun, meaningful way to serve as a Buddy for our Campers and provide them with a stronger sense of community this summer.

“Cooking with Caleb” had a new experience yesterday - our first FB live! The kid got to lead a group of @campiamspecial fans as the Camp explores some virtual get-togethers for families and friends. We had a lot of fun deciding which recipe to use (had to go with chocolate chip cookies 🍪) and setting up our “studio” which involved a ladder and a bungee cord 😆. Mom was a bit nervous about how things would go, but Caleb stepped up and did a great job reading and especially mixing everything. Showing off those skills he’s learned with all his @raddishkids recipes! 🧑🏼‍🍳 There might have been numerous taste-testing along the way, but we finally managed to get some of the batter in the oven. How ‘bout this! Caleb managed to have his own special day with @news4jax yesterday. From “Student of the Day” to trying out the Anchor desk, it was all I could do to keep up with him!Thanks to @vicmicolucci @lverno and @markpaytontv , he got to try his hand as a new part of the “Morning Show” team 😆. Let’s just say it’s a work-in-progress, but hey - keeping those career options open.
In-between, we were thrilled to be able to help spread the word about the amazing @campiamspecial - truly a magical place where inclusion and friendships are the rule and adventures happen all week long. JOY
If I could sum up the emotion of Night To Shine in one word, it would have to be JOY.
This was our third year working the Red Carpet for our local @nighttoshinejax We love this particular area bc we get to see SO many friends making their way into the big event. The smiles, the dancing, the joy - it’s so evident on each face. Radiant. Feeling loved and valued and celebrated. ❤️
The kid got to “warm up” all three Red Carpets this year, and let me tell you - it made his year! He was in his element, and he certainly got the job done. Just in time for the over 1,000 guests for Jacksonville’s event.
Our appreciation - always - for the local collaboration that does such an amazing job each year, and manages to make it bigger and better, and yet so special for each and every guest. Special shout outs to our friend Mark, who heads up the Red Carpet, Ms Sarah, who is our “carpet 2” buddy and Vic, our awesome MC each year. And of course, the man behind it all, Tim Tebow. The countdown begins for NTS 2021! 2️⃣.5️⃣.2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣
