We’ve wrapped up our first day at our very first fall retreat! Our day free time was full of games, fishing, kayaking and an amazing hike up round mountain. We leaned into time alone with the Lord, learning to be still and make time with him priority this fall. We still have a lot of great things ahead tonight and tomorrow morning!

I’m so very behind on posting alllllll the things…. So I’m just jumping in now cause…. well…. this was just so fun. 🤗Little Miss @emi_grace.44 has already moved out of state and serving the Lord and His Little Ones @campironbluffs , but I couldn’t bare to let her miss Senior Sunday at church with the people who have been such a huge part of her growing up. So a lifesize cardboard cutout had to do! 😅🎉 We’re so proud of you, Emily Grace!!! Go give the world all the Emily it can stand, and then give ‘em a little MORE!! ✝️🔥🌎♥️🎉 Well done, SisterGirl!! You make our hearts smile!!

He is risen!

As the first week of Color My Camp comes to an end, let’s take a moment to reflect on the most precious red—Jesus blood that was poured out for us. John 19:34 tells us that “one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water.” He poured out His blood so He could pour out Living Water. Jesus said “Anyone who believes in Me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (When He said “living water,” He was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in Him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into His glory.) (John 7:38-39).

Today is resurrection Sunday, and Jesus has risen and entered into His glory so the Holy Spirit, the Living Water, could be given to us. He bled (red) for us so we can forever have the Living Water (blue) flowing from our hearts! Today we wear RED, and tomorrow starts BLUE!!! ❤️➡️💙

Jesus, thank You for what You did on the cross. You died because of Your eternal love for us. You overcame death, and rose into glory so that the Holy Spirit could come and be our Guide, our Helper, and our Advocate. Help us to always remember your precious blood, not just on this day, but everyday as we walk debt free in the newness you payed for. May we, through the power of the Holy Spirit, spread the good news that you are risen, so that many souls can come to glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

So, when someone asks you why you’re wearing red, use it as an opportunity to share not only about camp, but Jesus and His precious red that he shed for the world.

As generosity is flowing through our hearts today, Camp Iron Bluffs is a nonprofit organization and every donation helps tremendously. Donate today at colormycamp.org

Wear the color, share the color, change the world.
