BIG NEWS from Camp Kaylie! 💙💚

For years, families have dreamed of a full summer @campkaylie experience for both boys and girls. Beginning Summer 2027, that dream becomes a reality.

We’re thrilled to announce that Camp Kaylie will be expanding to a second campus at the former Camp Kennybrook in Monticello, NY, just 20 minutes from our current Wurtsboro campus!

With two Camp Kaylie campuses, we’ll be able to offer a full summer experience for both boys and girls—and give hundreds more children the opportunity to experience the friendship, growth, inclusion, and magic that make Camp Kaylie so special.

Two campuses. Two full summers. One Camp Kaylie mission. ✨

Summer 2027, here we come!

Rosh Hashanah at Camp Kaylie 🍎🍯❤️

I loved spending Rosh Hashanah with family and getting to spend so much time together. ❤️ Being on camp grounds also reminded me of something people don’t always see about living with cerebral palsy.

I LOVE to move. I love being active, walking, working out and pushing myself. But having CP means sometimes moving also means knowing when to slow down.

Camp meant lots of walking, hills and uneven paths. Sometimes I’m totally fine on my own, and other times I need to slow down, take smaller steps, or have a hand nearby for a little extra balance.

And then there’s Ari 😂 Of course he would always help me, and I would always help him too. But sometimes we look at each other and realize the best way to help each other is to each focus on staying on our own two feet 😂 One of us going down is enough… we definitely don’t need to make falling a couples activity!

Having a disability doesn’t mean I don’t want to move. I LOVE to move. I just have to listen to my body and do things in the way that works best for me.

And I have to say… I think my surgeon, PT and personal trainer would be pretty proud of all the walking I did this Rosh Hashanah! 😂💪🏼

Starting the Jewish New Year surrounded by family, feeling grateful for how far I’ve come and for every step I get to take. ❤️
