a little more about me!! 🤸‍♀️🫂📸

hey again! my name is Lexi and i love taking photos and capturing special moments for people. my journey as a photographer has shaped me in so many ways! last summer i made the decision to work as a photographer at camp ozark! at the time i had no idea how the Lord was going to use this season. looking back two years later, i am incredibly blessed to say that i was able to learn, grow, and thrive at camp ozark! i learned so much about His character and how He loves while also gaining valuable experience behind the lens and growing in creativity. along the way i met some of the most amazing, joy-filled, people that i am so proud to call my friends! it means the world to me that i am able to bring this love back home and share it through wild joy! i can’t wait to see what the Lord has for this next season & i am so excited to share it with you!!

Big summer photo dump is more of a slow trickle… but I digress.
We love camp Ozark! Thankful the kids had a wonderful time away, for such caring parent communication and updates throughout their time away, and for the blessing to have them all back home again. 💙💙
See you next year, @campozarklive !!

Ben and Ali Monk are the Operating Directors at Camp Ozark, where they spend their summers creating an extraordinary world of adventure, friendship, and unforgettable memories for campers. 🏕️🛶🏅🎣

We’re so excited to welcome @campozarklive to our own little wonderland as a sponsor of the WRE Auction dance floor swag! 🪩✨ Because every great adventure deserves a little magic—and a whole lot of fun. 🥳

There’s a few people at this camp who have been there for over 30 years. There’s many who have been there over 2 years. I didn’t understand at first but now I know why, and why my recruiter Josh Cash (big shout out btw and Frannie) had tears in his eyes when he was telling his story about his first time to present at Camp Ozark. Not only is it the incredible, supportive and special fellow staff (and tower rangers) whom I have made friends for life with. Some travelled maybe 2 hours some 16 hours+. There’s a reason. Not only is it the most special, funniest and awesome kids who deserve all of you there. And the amazing activities and games (come on ropes family) and special events. No in all of it, hardship and mountain tops there is a God who has created us, who loves us even in our lowest moments Jesus died for you. You are loved. This is what Camp Ozark preached, thats why its so special and why campers and staff (including me) keep coming back having left confident, strong in who we are and powered up to be the light that God has called us to be. “You are the light of the world. A town on a hilltop cannot easily be hidden, in the same way let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and glory your Father in heaven” - Jesus Christ.

What a blessing it is to be exhausted in obedience to a calling God has given to you!
This is the testament that I’ve lived out this entire summer. It’s not exactly over, but my chapter at Camp Ozark is complete. I thank my supervisors, my wonderful media team, the kiddos who came through the gates every week, and most importantly I thank you Jesus!!! I can’t wait to serve again and again if called, because it doesn’t get more incomparable than this.

special shoutout to @parksshots because without him, I wouldn’t even know about this place! An incredible human to know, he’s also so so cool.

Jesus loves you
