POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Fourteen years of encounters, experiences and change. All part of what NOD is today.
NOD is growing, evolving, and entering a new phase. And with every new step comes a deeper awareness of everything that has made it possible.
Since 2012, NOD has been shaped by artists, dancers, different practices, ideas and questions, often in ways that could never have been anticipated.
Some encounters opened new directions. Others challenged existing perspectives. Each left something that became part of what followed.
The NOD Archive was created to bring these moments together, to acknowledge the people who have been part of this journey, and to give space to a history that continues to evolve.
Because understanding where we come from is also part of imagining where we can go.

Saturday!!⚡️QUINCIE BEAN⚡️teaches 10-11:30 AM, January 31, held at @performingdancecenter . Pre-/Professional dancers in SLC—join us for a delicious class and welcoming community!

✨ABOUT CLASS: We will move through class searching for aspects of play in improv, conditioning, and phrasework. We will move to expand limitations, explore sensations, and bring awareness to habits. Searching for joy and embracing the beauty of each other in the space.

💫QUINCIE BEAN was raised in Utah and began dancing at the young age of three. She completed her pre-professional training at Provo Civic Ballet before relocating to Santa Fe to join Modas Dance’s year-round program under the direction of Layla Amis. Quincie later collaborated on projects with LED and Project Flux, both in Boise. Notable performances include Treefort Music Festival, Festival Prisma Danza, and Dance for Life in Chicago. She has performed works by Lauren Edson, David Maurice, Alex Ketley, and Garrett Smith, among others. Quincie joined NW Dance Project as a dancer in 2021 and was promoted to rehearsal assistant and dancer in 2024.
