With 11 games already behind us, this remains our most complete performance of the season. 🏒🔥 We knocked off Instant Karma 5-2 in one of the biggest upsets of the season, proving what this team is capable of when we’re at our best.

It was a complete team effort from start to finish. 💪 Everyone bought into the game plan, battled for each other, and played with the grit, heart, and determination that defines the Riots. A win we’ll be talking about long after this season ends. 🚨🥅

Our first shootout game of the season ends with a 2-1 victory for Steinway Baby Grands. Congrats to Jeff as the only goal scorer in the shootout, and to Cam, Doug, and the goalie union for stonewalling the shooters.

Saves of the week from week 4…this week had it all including breakaway saves, one timer saves, a friendly fire shot that doesn’t technically count as a save and isn’t made by a member of the goalie union, but we appreciated it anyway.

Switching it up this week in celebration of our goalies stealing the show this past weekend. Check out these saves of the week, all from our week 3 action.

Can’t leave out the strong effort from the goalies week 5. Check out this pair of great saves from Cam and Jacob to help keep the score tight. Cam with 3 saves in short succession, but Jacob covers a lot of ground to stop the rebound chance on the far post. Which one do you like more?

Last week the Steinway Baby Grands put up 6 goals, setting a franchise record for goals in a game en route to a 6-1 victory. Will they be able to do it again today?

We usually wait until mid-week to post, but some good things just can’t wait. The playoffs kicked off with a bang yesterday, and the final game of the day was especially electric. It had everything including an overtime winner, but perhaps the most exciting part were these two “save of the season” candidates. With the Jedi making a strong push to get back in the game, More Tooth goalie Craig makes a sprawling stick save to keep them up 2-0. Late in the game with the score tied at 2, Jedi goalie Cam makes an impressive stick save of his own while reaching behind him. More great highlights to come.
