Some random summer moments aside from the video grind 🌤️

My highlight definitely was wearing a Thai dress ( ชุดไทย ) for the first time. As beautiful as it looks, it's a bit of a chore because you need at least two people to get dressed. I felt very lucky and it brought back memories from my time in Thailand 🥹

I also began making origami with the papers I got from Japan. I'm far from great but folding and seeing what shape the paper will take is very soothing for me.

Looking forward to autumn!

Sunday. the return of the tung. after yesterday’s ride i got fed and fueled to make my way back. no support car. no draft. also no wind.

„walking down memory lane“ it is an entire different experience and i can heavily recommend doing that more often.

at some point i checked how much longer it‘d take me and chose to chase a bus that would get me to a train that would get me to another train and so on and so on.

i wasn’t equipped for a colder and darker ride so it was a good decision.

end of another good weekend in cycling land.
still need to figure out insta export settings for videos 😅

Binh & Leelo for my series DUYÊN exhibited at @tendinglayers at @glogauair last November and more memories from one of my favorite nights of 2025.

Growing up as a second-generation immigrant in Germany, we didn’t see people like us represented in mainstream media, so we became our own role models. So proud of my friends and everyone involved for creating visibility for the invisible imprints of Viet-German identity.

The exhibition was funded by @stiftungkunstfonds

// When curating the exhibition, it was especially important to us to showcase the many facets of Viet-German identity. Themes such as longing and belonging, as well as loss and experiences of displacement, run through the artists’ works and are brought to life through a wide variety of media and presentation formats.
We are incredibly grateful and proud of our artists for having the courage to share these vulnerable stories with the public. This exhibition would not have been possible without you.
A heartfelt thank you to Gia-Linh for the beautiful images ❤️

Coming back to our daily lives, we’re still carrying the energy of the exhibition with us. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude for everyone who helped us to create this space. This is a reminder that together there’s nothing we can’t do as long as we’ve got each other’s back. A massive thanks goes to every artist who moved us, every single supporter who showed up and every person in the crowd whose appreciation made this exhibition so special. Our community is everything because of y’all!

//
