POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

HFNC are stoked to announce the re-signing of midfield bull Cam Wild for 2027.

Another monster season from Camma, who continues to establish himself as one of the premier inside midfielders in the competition.

Across 16 games, Cam averaged 22 disposals, including 13 contested, 8 clearances and 6.5 tackles, while also hitting the scoreboard with 18 majors. He featured in our best on 9 times, including 2 Best on Grounds.

His best came in R4 against Banyule, where he put together a game winning 27-piece performance at an 81% clip, winning 11 clearances, laying 6 tackles and hitting the scoreboard with a goal aswell.

That combination of contested ball-winning, clearance work and physicality has become a trademark of Cam's game. He is one of those players who simply refuses to let the opposition dictate terms around the contest.

Cam has become a massive part of our midfield group and a player we know our teammates can rely on when the heat is on.

We are absolutely wrapped to have Cam committing to H-Town again for 2027.

Another year, another level.

Welcome back Camma

Recovery - Reset - Rebuild

It is at your own detriment if you forgot just how good this bloke can be.
He put his hand up for the job on the Charlie Medallist - and made it personal.
After missing the back end of our finals campaign and the start of this season, Camma returned yesterday and took his game to another level.
He’s worked on himself a lot over the break and come back more driven than ever.
Relentless at stoppage, giving up nothing.
Winning the hard ball.
Collecting bodies at every contest.
And defensively - his tackling was as strong as we’ve seen.
He set the standard, dragging the contest onto his terms and refusing to be beaten.
That’s the level now - and if he stays there, he changes the way this whole side competes.
A well-earned Best on Ground for a man who stayed patient and is now reaping the benefits of his hard work.

Another outstanding performance from our midfield bull.
There was plenty said around this match up, but Camma stood tall through all the noise.

He was a force at the stoppage, finishing with 21 disposals (15 contested), 5 marks, 8 clearances and 2 majors. He gave us plenty of x-factor through the middle, able to create something when not much was going our way. Even with heavy attention all day, he still drove us inside 50 on 10 occasions.

Working in tandem with Fitzy, the pair have been the engine room for us in recent weeks, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough on the day. His ability to win the hard ball and drag his teammates into the contest never wavered for 4 quarters.
Another performance that shows exactly why he’s one of the most important pieces in our midfield.
