POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My name is Ömer Can, a.k.a Ertek. I’m 24 years old, and this is my sixth season playing American football as a defensive lineman.

So far, I’ve played for three different teams and made countless memories and friendships along the way. I think that’s probably the best thing this sport has given me.

Besides that, football is my escape from the stress and exhaustion of everyday life. The moment I step onto the field, my focus is completely on the game, and I forget about everything that’s bothering me outside of it. Even though I’m physically tired when I leave the field, mentally I feel refreshed and recharged.

American football is still a growing sport in my country, and I want to always be a part of it and do whatever I can to help it grow.
