How It Ends 🕰️ What a special piece. So many dancers that had my full attention, my full heart and soul and really brought this number to life. I will always carry this dance as one of the most pivotal timeframes, rehearsal processes and overall experiences in my teaching career. You never know your creating magic until the time has passed and it always comes back to you. Much love to each of these dancers 🥹🤩 @conceptsdancestudioinc #fulloutwithfeeling

I had the best time competing at @candancecompetition Nationals a few weeks ago⭐️ So honoured to have competed for the junior miss title and placing in the top 20! What an amazing week of learning with my friends and I loved making so many new friends💜

Thank you to my studio @ecoledanselouise_orleans for the endless support and to my teachers @sabmartel_dance and @julianed.dance for making these solos come to life⭐️

40 SEASONS OF @candancecompetition .🇨🇦❤️🖤

What a week✨✨

A massive congratulations to @lisatpoland , @dannyjpoland , and @debbie_noce on celebrating 40 incredible seasons of Candance—creating opportunities, inspiring generations, and continuing to champion Canadian dancers and artists beyond our borders. The heart behind this event is unmatched, and the production value is second to none! ✨✨🎉

I’m so grateful to have been part of this milestone week at Nationals, adjudicating, teaching Film industry workshops, and connecting with so many passionate artists.

And getting to share it all with an amazing team— @sdkanten , @quishawitha_q , @andrew_mikhaiel , Joe, and @princekyrzyk . You made the week even better. ❤️

To every dancer who took the stage this week: thank you for sharing your artistry, your passion, and your heart. The future of Canadian dance is bright.

Here’s to 40 amazing years of Candance…and to everything still to come. 🇨🇦✨

13 & Over Dance Off Winner, Choreography Of The Year 13 & Over, People’s Choice Award Winner, 1st Place Overall Large Group 13 & Over — Once, They Were Kind

I don’t think I could ever fully explain what this piece means to me.
I still remember sitting in a hotel room with my mom, playing her this music and trying to explain the blurry vision I had in my head. There wasn’t any choreography yet, just a strong feeling to follow.
This piece is about the reality that so many women face every day: mistreatment, abuse, harassment, and violence. Sometimes those responsible are strangers, but so often they are people who were once trusted - a family member, a partner, or a close friend.
I’m incredibly grateful for these awards, but even more grateful for the way this piece connected with people. Watching mothers hold their daughters a little tighter, hoping for a safer future for them, and seeing fathers moved by the weight of what it means to protect, respect, and to love women was something I’ll never forget.

To everyone at @studiodansedanielle thank you. Thank you for trusting me with this work and for approaching it with so much care, empathy, and commitment. You gave this piece a depth I could never have created on my own, and I feel so lucky to have shared it with all of you. I love you all so much.
Lastly, I’m especially excited to share that winning the People’s Choice Award includes a $1,000 donation to a charity of our choice.
From the beginning, I had hoped that if this piece received any recognition, it would be this award, because it meant we could support an organization that helps women experiencing physical or sexual abuse, or those escaping abusive situations. I’m so thankful that this piece can continue making an impact beyond the stage.

“The only people who live on Earth are mothers and their children.”

I do not own the rights to this music.
