SURPRISE! WE’RE……..

MOVING! (again)…

This past year on the Big Island has been more than I ever could have dreamed of. I found myself living in a place that once felt impossibly far away, working my dream job in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever known. Hawai‘i challenged me, humbled me, and changed me in ways I don’t think I’ll fully understand until much later.
While being here, I experienced the raw power of Mother Nature in ways I had only ever seen on the news before, tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, and even witnessing Pele’s power. At the same time, I experienced so much beauty: the kindness of the people, the healing energy of the ocean, the incredible wildlife both in the mountains and the sea, and the simple joy of fresh fruit and vegetables grown right here in the yard. There’s something about this place that makes you slow down and appreciate life a little deeper.
I have so much gratitude for everyone who welcomed me with open arms while I navigated a new culture, a different way of life, and learning a new job. Being so far away from my family was not always easy, but the people here made me feel cared for, supported, and at home. In so many ways, you became family to me, and I will carry that with me forever.
The memories, lessons, and love I’ve found here will stay with me for the rest of my life. Hawai‘i will always hold a special place in my heart.
Mahalo nui loa, Hawai‘i, for all that you’ve taught me.
A hui hou🌺
