It shouldn’t be easier to throw money into sports betting, the lottery, or crypto than it is to invest in small businesses.
If we’re serious about building wealth and opportunity for more Americans, it’s time to expand the definition of accredited investor.

Thank you Chairman French Hill for the opportunity to testify before the House Financial Services Committee in support of the DEAL Act and ICAN Act.

@BlackTechWeek is run by the 10 full-time team members of @lightshipfoundation and the amazing event production crew at @thisiskatalyst. How this crew runs a 5,000 person event is BEYOND comprehension!

Thanks to our amazing sponsors including @jobsohio, @proctergamble, @city_of_cincy, and @lightship.capital Thank you also to the committee led by @visit_cincy who helped us rally to have another strong year!

Hadn’t sat next to my classmate since senior year marching band yet somehow we just talked for 7 hours straight. Krista was kind enough to let me volunteer to take her to care appointments today and it was an absolute honor.

From diagnosis to bell ring 🔔 and double mastectomy to infusion, Krista has shared her story and it has blessed everyone around her.

Things I learned today:
1.) @uc_health is 🔥 and we are lucky to have the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff.

2.) Insurance companies in America can be absolutely disappointing. (Note: knew this already but today felt like an all time low)

3.) When you’re diagnosed with cancer someone else controls your calendar for a really long time even after the cancer is gone.

4.) Toledoans are THRIVING in Cincinnati

5.) There are women who knit FREE bra inserts called @knittedknockers. Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have had breast cancer and undergone mastectomy or lumpectomy.

6.) The little girl I met in high school “is now living an abundant, juicy, and energized life.” 😉
