We feel many things.

Most of those things are riffs on gratitude for each of you, and for how you’ve shown up for us in our first year. Thank you for coming to share coffee, matcha, lil treats & conversation with us 🕊️

We’re learning that wintertime is a season that calls for some extra rest & time behind the scenes to prepare the trailer for service. TBH, it is also too cold for us to stay out all day without becoming ~human popsicles~ or causing damage to our equipment.

With that in mind, here’s when we’ll be open for service for the rest of the winter season:

Mon-Fri: 7AM-12PM
Sat & Sun: Closed 😴

You will also be able to find Moonbottles at @yawningbearbread on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—available til they sell out!

That’s what we’ve got :)) If there’s a storm (or really bad windchill)—check our stories for any updates before making the trip. We’ll be able to expand our hours again once the temperatures rise a bit 🤍

Thank y’all for hanging out with us in 2024 🤍

To all our friends who have given their time, labor, music, art, goods, space, encouragement & wisdom during this first year: thank you & we love you!

(*It’s bonkers that we get to do this at all, and Moonbird def wouldn’t exist without you—thank you for your kindness as we’ve navigated what the heck we are doing out here 🕊️🎶🎧)

Nightfall is out now 🌑

Written & recorded in a one-night blur with @soupergrover at @oranjudio . We worked in the dark with just the glow from the monitors. The chords & lyrics were on my laptop and we ran from instrument to instrument, writing and playing and recording as we went.

This is a love song. More to come.

(*Dedicated to our friends Sam + Barry, who heard this song when it was a voice memo & danced to it at their wedding 🤍)

✨The Mystic Rhythm ✨

Double espresso & your choice of milk with a rich, salty brown sugar syrup. Topped with @diasporaco cinnamon & freshly grated nutmeg. We love this one over ice, but we won’t stop you from ordering it hot on a chilly day. 😮‍💨

We created this special drink to remind us of one of the first ways we shared coffee together. 🤍🖤

Eric: “Candice would bring me brown sugar shaken espressos every morning to raise me from the dead 💀. It has become such a strong sense memory tied to the early days of our relationship. I wanted to name the drink the ‘Mystic Rhythm’ to immortalize my deep obsession for Rush on our menu. Check out the song on the album Power Windows (1985).” @geddyimages @thereallerxst

We’ll be closed this week (1/16-1/20) due to the mega cold weather 🥶

Big big thanks to everyone who braved the rain, sleet, wind & snow to visit during our opening week 🤍

We’ll be back as soon as the cold lets up a little bit. In the meantime, stay safe and warm!

A lil 2023 6x8” silkscreen print, variable edition (even more options than these two) of some mighty resistant pals that refuse to stop growing-together 🥵😏🥹. I don’t know about you but that’s kinda my mood for me and all my pals in 2024. I have plenty of these up for grabs at every m^rket but am hoping to clear them out soon to make new prints! Snag one for you AND your bestie who may need a sweet reminder that you’re stronger together 🌷✨🌷
