We're still reminiscing about the 111th Annual Conference & Meeting! ASALH was honored to host the USPS Kwanzaa Forever Stamp First Day of Issue Dedication Ceremony during our gathering in Norfolk, Virginia. The dedication celebrated the rich cultural legacy of Kwanzaa and the importance of preserving and honoring traditions that affirm Black history, culture, and community.

Pictured at the unveiling, from left to right:
Janine Bell, Cassandra Newby-Alexander, Ph.D., Matthew Toman, Sylvia Cyrus, Candyce St. Clair, and Crystal Sessoms.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion and helped make it part of the 111th Annual Meeting & Conference.
