Had such a great first day of my first ever con! Thanks again to everyone I spoke with and or bought goodies from! You all were so nice and welcoming. I can’t wait for these next few days. #transformer #tfconla #tfconla2026 💜💚💜

Post con depression hits hard, but all the art pieces that I saw hit harder.

There were so many fun little surprises at this con. People were passing out cute little stickers and drawings and while I was helping out at the G1 panel a group of people gave us a Rodimus Star!

Artist “Alley” was awesome. I got Autobot stamps (major apologies to my friend who stood in line for me), a matrix necklace, a sick Seeker jacket (previous post), and a ton of cool (trans)formers sticker.

I think the sweetest victory was hunting down and finding the t-cog man… after so many of my friends teased me (you know who you are) and chased me around with their t-cog! Ha! P.S., t-cog man will be in Chicago.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Aaron Archer. He’s informally known as Instruction Guy on Instagram, but very light digging will reveal a passion that turned into a career bringing some of the most iconic characters to the Transformers universe! It was so cool to hear him talk about his passion as an illustrator. He has a lot more fun with pieces that have snow, fire, smoke etc., so it was a sick find to grab Megatron in the ice.

I ran out of time to color in the pieces I drew for the voice actors. But Tania Gunadi and I joked about fingerless Jack and Raphael! They’re literally represented as a circle and line. I struggled so hard with drawing Miko (and humans in general) and was super self conscious but she was sweet in complimenting my art. I also got to meet Sumalee Montano, who was so kind. It’s really cool to hear about their background and how they got into this fandom and voice acting - we were blessed! Also I got to meet David Sobolov, who asked to color in Shockwave’s eye. Petition to bring him back as Rhinox!!!! HASBRO bring him back!! Lastly, I met Z Infante - I appreciate them for being unapologetically their authentic self and being an inspiration.

I met someone named Scott Zilner, who rescues rats and gave a heartwarming backstory about his first rat, Abby. Thank you for providing these babies a wonderful home!

Funnily enough, the only toy I got from this con was gifted from my friend - thanks Steven, and thank you TFcon LA 2025!

For the first time ever at LA TFcon, I went to the point of no return called… Artists Alley. And let me warn you, your wallet might not make it back out alive because these artists will literally suck you in. What do you mean I can get a sick Beast Wars tote bag?? Cool lanyards? Pins? Keychains? Optimus drawings? Y’all are incredible! So, if your work isn’t tagged, please let me know. The artist with the cute keychains on the second post has an Etsy page called Enimittyshop. I also got to meet Eric Siebenaler, who let me in on some of the magic behind the scenes with the product designing work he did for Animated!

Along the way, I also met Jim Sorenson, who is the author of Transformers: A Visual History. My brother had gifted me his book, so it was such a cool opportunity to meet him. Turns out, he gave me more homework than school ever did. His book, which collects the creative arts of Transformers over the years, essentially divides itself up into five different sections—one of them being comics. As I hadn’t started reading the comics yet, he suggested I meet some of the artists whose works were displayed in the book! I was able to speak with some of them and they signed some of their iconic works, including Alex Milne, Livio Ramondelli, E.J. Su (thanks for the noodle recommendation), and Casey Coller (it was great hearing what drew you to comics)! I saw some of them just free handing drawings right then and there… seriously how does your mind work?! I’m convinced some of y’all were transformers yourselves in a different lifetime.

The last two photos are the Cybertron toys I hunted down in a mad frenzy and the art that Frank Welker signed-for the voice of the big scary bot that is Megatron he was incredibly sweet hehe.

This was definitely an unforgettable experience, so thank you to everyone that helped create it. The way these people understand Transformers anatomy and manifest them in different mediums is absolutely mind-blowing, so please, please definitely check out their works and comics if you haven’t!

TFConLA was really fun! I already shared my thoughts elsewhere but the quick version for here is—it was fun! I enjoyed the experience tabling but i don’t know if i’d do it again or if i’d just be a helper for my friends with tables and offer a small corner of stuff that i made! Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table and bought something or just stopped by to chat! 🩵💛

I’m about to tag a lot of people and i apologize in advance haha

My first TFcon was a success!! As someone who usually hears "wait... Transformers has a fandom?" From people, this place was a dream come true. So many cool folks and cooler robots!

Shout out to the amazing comic book artists I got to chat with. This was my first artist-celebrity meet at a con so it was really special!

(I did not purchase Bedazzlemus Prime but I am inspired to make my own) my favorite purchase is my new Swindle wallet because of course Swindle would sell wallets with his face on it. Clear Mini-Minerva was also a very cute, unexpected win! ✨

These pics represent maybe .0002% of the awesomnitude that was this past weekend.
Panels felt like family reunions, as did the whole convention overall.
Met some insanely kind folks, got to thank some personal heroes integral to my journey, signed some crazyamazing things (my first “The Vampire Dies in No Time” and look at those sweet G1 boxes!!) and chatted about all the nerdy things I love with some of the best people on this rock…
New friends, old friends, friends finally met in corporeal form, I love you all.

Thank you so very much @tfcon for having me.

‘Till all are one.
