There were many versions of the Satan Mares, each wonderful in their own special chaotic unity. Tonight we change things up again! The band is old, the band is new. And that's a big honor to have been playing with all of you!

Tonight @springdavey will take on drums, @chasethehorseman will be bassin', @dionysian_miasma will be on her theremin making spooky sounds and playing keys, and I'll play my guitar and sing.

I hope you come out to the Gutter in Williamsburg and dance with us! Doors are at 7. We will close the show after @caninewedding, @xstrawberryglassx and @hero.magnus sometime after 10.

Special thank you to @ourwickedlady crew for making this happen!

Love you! 🚬👹

@holy_fang Out now: the new EP by @caninewedding SEE THEM LIVE TONIGHT @footlightpresents @thewindjammer , “Sorry I Was Bad,” produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by moi at Holy Fang.
Canine Wedding is a wiry, eccentric, and hyper-intelligent slack rock trio serving 6 (and a quarter) nervy, swervy tunes on the EP. I was introduced to them through their dynamo singer-songwriter Cam, who moonlights as the singer of my beloved longtime collaborators @skeeterdemilo .
Where Skeeter is an outlet for Cam’s political agitprop against a brutal alternative metal background, Sorry I Was Bad is concerned with far earthier things: sex, love, humiliation, and everything in between. Ably joined by their charismatic and laugh-a-minute bandmates Nick on nimble bass and Cris on thumping drums, this is an immensely charming record and one that I was thrilled to work on.
Swipe through for a look at the sessions, the sanctuary hangs, and the gang paying the required animal tax.
