Rain or shine, we stroll to find a cure 💜

Theo’s RETTheads participated in our 3rd Stroll-a-thon for Rett syndrome research fundraising this past Saturday and raised over $13,000!!!

Thank you to our hosts @rettsyndromefoundation, as well as our sponsors @acadia.pharma @neurogene and @taysha for the love and support in helping to find a cure for Theo and his friends who suffer from Rett.

Thanks to my wonderful co-chairs @summer.b.sunshine @laurinecanning and @holly as well as @katie from IRSF for flying in from St. Louis to be a part of the stroll! Each year gets better and better!

This year was extra special in that we were able to put the donations from Team RETTheads towards the new MR (males with Rett) fund!! This is going to give the boys with Rett the same opportunities for trials and therapies as the gals!

Lastly, thank you to all who donated and/or showed up in the middle of a nor’easter!! (Including the bros @axp_wcu - you guys showed up and showed out!!) I continue to be blown away each year by the kindness and generosity of our village. We couldn’t do it without you and the Gradzki family is so blessed to have such amazing support!!

Don’t worry, Cam got to get in some cousin time and do his first finger painting, so it’s safe to say he had fun this weekend too despite being drug out in the cold and rain for his big brother 😂

See everyone next year!

Month 8 (plus a couple of days) with cam! Went on our first sea isle vacation, sat in the big boy grocery cart, first time at Johnson’s farm and lots of cousin love! We are sitting on our own and eating everything in sight! We love you cameroni!

THEO IS THREEO!! Happy birthday to our big brave boy. In your third year of life you settled back in at home after being in the hospital for 329 days, you went to a Phillies game, to the beach, to respite care, and beyond! You also helped raise money for Rett Syndrome research and became a big brother. We continued to be absolutely blown away by your strength, determination, growth (chunky guy), resilience and silly/sarcastic nature! It’s amazing how much you’ve been through in your little life so far and we couldn’t be prouder to call you our son. We love you so much and we are so excited for your next adventure starting special services preschool in a few short days! Keep on glowing (like that hair of yours)!

Swipe to see where we went for our birthday celebration ➡️

What a special day yesterday was! Philly’s 3rd annual and Team Theo’s second Rett “Stroll-a-thon” was a huge success! From family to friends to frat bros, Team Theo’s RETTheads had over 80 people walk and raised over $13,000 for Rett Syndrome!

I am truly overwhelmed by all of the love and support we receive for our guy. It’s certainly not been an easy road but to know we have such a big group of people who back us up and help us out makes an incredible difference. We are truly blessed.

Sincere feelings of gratefulness and gratitude go out to every person who walked, donated, or supported in other ways. Special thanks go out to: @rettsyndromeorg for creating and hosting this event as well as providing tons of fun merch!
@acadia.pharma and Taysha Gene Therapies for their time and their sponsorships
Our personal sponsors @pgreen70 @canning1982 and @edgedancecenter for going the extra mile for our favorite RETThead!
@summer.b.sunshine’s mom for starting this event in Philly and for allowing us to come aboard as co-chairs this year! It is so wonderful to have found a Rett community in our area and it was great to see and meet the new families who came out this year!

Thank you thank thank you and we hope to see you all next year!! 💜💜💜
