🏀 #MMBR PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: JAKAILA GASKIN

6’4” | C | Cannon

Size, length, and toughness in the paint. Gaskin makes her presence felt by securing rebounds, finishing around the rim, and protecting the interior. She plays within herself and gives Cannon a dependable presence inside.

Her continued development makes her a prospect worth watching closely. 👀

Committed!!

I am very excited and grateful to announce my commitment to Lees Mcrae College!!

First I would like to thank God for guiding me through this entire process and for this opportunity. Next, for my parents and family who pushed me and supported me through every part of this journey, I couldn’t have accomplished this without you all.

I would also like to thank Coach Drakeford for every opportunity he’s provided for me at Cannon and helping me grow as a player each year. Thank you to my AAU coaches, Coach Josh and Coach Anthony for taking me in and always believing in me no matter what. And to Brittany at AssistU for helping me through the recruiting process and for all your advice.

Finally, I would like to thank Coach Galvani for giving me this incredible opportunity to play for Lees Mcrae and I cannot wait to be apart of this program!

Go Bobcats 💚💛
