My thesis exhibition: Personal Myths.
My final show before I graduated. Something I am grateful to have experienced and be a part of. CSU and its faculty and students have been great to me, and I will miss everyone dearly. I’m so honored to be an artist! I’m so excited for what’s to come! 🤩🥳

What an HONOR it is to be an artist and gather with other artists to support one another!! So thankful to have the community I have, (especially bc it’s hard for me to ask for help when I need it) and these girls did NOT disappoint 🥹 thank you for helping me make my dreams come true!! Late recap of @creativesouthga Ink War ✍️… the perfect ice breaker and intro to the conference for me. Surprise theme was “volcano vacation” 🌋🏝️

Literally so fun, we took over a whole bridge with so much food too! Shoutout to the new homies for sharing their step stool and literally carrying me in the final minutes so I could reach the top haha everyone killed it ✨ … same time next year?

Three letters: WOW! (the last slide tho 🤣 thanks @sylvisual for the perfect meme)

This past weekend, at @creativesouthga I:
✅ I participated in Ink Wars (and lost)
✅ Gave a 45 min keynote talk
✅ Facilitated a 90 min sales workshop
✅ Created 15 visual notes live in two and a half days
✅ Had a vendor booth for my prints and booklets (shoutout to @vivianillustrates and @argbanks for the amazing help)
✅ Attended two parties, one dinner and one night out
✅ Posted on Social media every day

I also:
😅 Lost my glasses
😅 left at home a box with booklets and prints I planned to sell
😅 hugged a number of people who came to thank me for my talk and got emotional 💛
😅 drank too much coffee
😅 ate too much on day one and two, barely ate on day three
😅 forgot to print a banner for my booth, so ended up drawing it last minute
😅 forgot to trade stickers and didn’t collect as much as previous years.

In general terms, it was beautiful chaos.
Bit more than I could chew, and learned to chew in the process.

Thank you to all who were part of it.
For your support, your openness, your relentless joy.

You make my heart feel cozy.
You are awesome.

Creative South '26 was an absolute blast! Here's some highlights:

•Student Portfolio Reviews on Day 1. Big thanks to everyone involved who made this happen, they're was so much to learn!

•Ink Wars at the Bridge Party. A time was definitely had, and we want to shout out Professor Cannon for her third place win this year. And another shout-out to the winner @hellaleah ! Congratulations to them and all who participated.

•The Luau on Night 2. It was so amazing to be surrounded by friends and see such rich culture!

There's so much more, but overall we're so happy to have had this opportunity and can't wait for next year!

Creative South did not disappoint! Conference started with the student portfolio review in the Illges Gallery and Professor Cannon took 3rd on Ink Wars. GD students brought their A game on both events! Thank you @creativesouthga

Have you seen the 🌟 glow-up 🌟 at Peach lately?!? @peachlittleleague , @columbusga2025 Painted Spaces, and @midtowncolumbus have “teamed up” for a beautiful new mural by artist Christine Cannon. We hope the entire Midtown community enjoys this beautification project as much as we do! Great job, @cannonarts 👏🏻 🍑 🎨 ❤️

Congratulations to the @goclingstones and @diamondbaseball for their inaugural Opening Day at Synovus Park! Formerly known as Golden Park, this historic ballpark is stepping into its 99th year with a fresh new look - combining modern upgrades with the timeless charm of its early days. Huge thanks to @brasfieldgorrie, @wearepopulous, and all our amazing collaborators for helping make this vision a reality!
