Today, Nolan would have been 19.

Happy heavenly birthday, Nolan. 🕊️💙

Your story has touched so many people, and your life, your smile, your potential, and everything surrounding your death have left an impact that cannot simply be forgotten.

We are sorry for what you have gone through, and we are sorry that even in death, you and your family are still having to fight for answers and justice.

But Nolan, the good people are still here. We will keep asking questions. We will keep seeking the truth. We will keep standing with your family. And we will keep pushing until the truth comes to light and justice is served.

You were here for only 18 years, but the impact of your story has reached so many people. Your name has become a reminder that every life matters, every family deserves answers, and the truth should never be buried.

Rest peacefully, Nolan. You are forever in our hearts. 🕊️

#nolanwells 18-year-old who's body was discovered on July 6th on the shoreline of the Island after missing for 2 days after attending an independence day gathering on Horn Island. On july 3rd Nolan told his parents that he would be spending the 4th of july weekend with his "friends" and later left that night. On july 4th Nolan and his "friends" went on a boat trip to Horn Island, an isolated federally protected barrier island that sits about 10 miles off of the Mississippi Coast.⁸ Nolan was recorded on a boat eurh two okfer adults which is the last known image or video of him. They was having problems with the boat. Nolan stayed back because of a young woman he had met and become acquainted with. At 11PM Hudson called Nolan's parents that night and Nolan's parents reported him missing to the authorities that night. U.S. coast guard reported that they received a phone call from on of his "friends" around 11PM as well but it did not "require coast guard assistance". Nolan's parents used a tracking app to locate this cell phone and his car keys with his friend on the mainland. His car was at a different location. 2 days later his body was discovered along the shoreline of the island by a park ranger. Police stated there was no signs of foul play and suspected drowning of the death. But his death stills remains questioning. AND WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL WE GET JUSTICE FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY BC HIS LIFE MATTERS JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSES 🖤✊🏽. #justicefornolanwells #sayhisname #blacklivesmatter #nojusticenopeace✊🏾 Photo shared by 🤎✊🏾Black Lives Matter✊🏾🤎 on August 07, 2026 tagging @christine.fnp, @elmorewonsley, @nolanwellss, and @elmorewonsleyjr.4.
