A week out from my second Embers & Thyme gathering, I find myself reflecting on the day and all the emotions I felt being surrounded by women who inspire me…creative, passionate, and each so uniquely themselves.

It was a day to celebrate the different things that make us who we are, and the women who pour so much love into what they create. Whether it has grown into a small business or remains simply a passion they’ve chosen to share, there is something so special about watching someone’s gift ignite something in another person they didn’t even know they needed.

We ended the day with Lilit guiding us through a beautiful meditation centered around personal abundance..
a reminder that abundance isn’t always about having more. Sometimes it is simply slowing down long enough to recognize how much already exists within us and around us. Our gifts. Our time. Our friendships. Our creativity. The people who show up for us. The ordinary moments we so easily overlook.

In so many ways, Embers & Thyme and the products I began creating led me to many of these incredible women. Others were new faces, invited by friends, each arriving with something uniquely their own to share. That alone has been one of the most unexpected gifts of this journey.

In this chapter of my life, I’m learning to recognize both my strengths and my limitations.. and to be at peace with both. I may not always have the trending audio, the perfect viral hook, or know how to keep up with everything moving so quickly around us. But that day, I felt something far more meaningful to me.

I felt connected. Grounded. Supported. Encouraged. Understood.

It felt real.

We live in a world that is more connected than ever, yet somehow we can feel more distant from one another than ever before. We gave one another something increasingly rare… our presence, our time, our attention, and the freedom to simply be ourselves.

Maybe that is abundance too. Not constantly searching for what is missing or what comes next, but having the gratitude to recognize what is already here.

Still reflecting. Still grateful. And so excited to see where this little ember leads next. 🤍 #embersandthyme #embersandthymegatherings

A Provence-inspired retreat in my home in Los Angeles has been tugging at my heart for quite some time.

Thank you for saying yes to this invitation.

This day was inspired by all the things that make each of us unique…creativity, art, music, nature, culture, family, and the meaningful moments that bring richness to life. My hope is that this is only the beginning of many more meaningful gatherings, conversations, and connections to come, and that we can continue to welcome beautiful souls who are simply waiting to be seen, heard, and encouraged to shine.

And a special thank you for your beautifully curated baskets, homemade cake, homegrown goods, dried herbs, gardening bundles, flowers, artfully designed sourdough and the beautiful energy you brought to the day. More than anything, I was touched by the time, thoughtfulness, and care it took to grow, gather, create, and curate it all. Those are the things that bring me the most joy and made the day feel so special. ✨
