Six years of tattooing. I can’t quite believe I’m writing that✨

Looking back at these photos takes me straight to the beginning: I was studying fashion in Madrid when I decided to learn to tattoo. I barely had any free time, but I knew what I wanted. I spent my weekends learning and used every moment I could find to practice. I wanted to become the best artist I could be, so even when life felt busy, I kept making time for it. Looking back, I’m so glad I did.

Slowly, people began inviting me to tattoo at events and studios in Madrid. Those opportunities grew, and eventually I moved to New York to tattoo full time. Little by little, I found my style, worked in places I once only dreamed about, traveled, collaborated with artists from different fields, and tattooed people I admire.

But the most beautiful part of these six years has been the people I’ve met along the way.

We’ve shared studios, conventions, trips, long days, late nights, and so many little moments in between. Some of the friends I made through tattooing have become my family. I never could have imagined that following something I loved would bring these people into my life, and I’m so grateful for every experience we’ve shared.

And then there are my clients. You’ve trusted me with your stories as well as your skin. I’ve loved getting to know you during our sessions, hearing what each piece means to you, and seeing familiar faces come back over the years. Those connections are one of the things I treasure most.

Tattooing has given me so much more than a career. It’s helped me grow, learn about myself, and build a life I never could have pictured six years ago.

To everyone who trusted me, gave me a chance when I was starting out, shared what they knew with me, or became a friend along the way: thank you. I wouldn’t be here without you.

And to the version of myself in those first photos: we did it. And there’s still so much more to come🤍
