Cape Byron walking track is probably the most famous hike in Byron Bay. It loops around the lighthouse, offering views from every angle, with surfers riding perfect waves below and stunning views of Nguthungulli Julian Rocks Reserve, where I had my best snorkelling experience spotting turtles and leopard sharks 🤿🐢🦈

Meeting cool surfer friends, relaxing at Wategos Beach, and watching a spectacular sunset at the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse, the easternmost point of Australia.

🌈 Nimbin
A colorful little village surrounded by rainforest – walking through the streets, enjoying the unique vibe and stopping for a relaxed drink.

🏖 Coffs Harbour
Beautiful beaches, a walk along the historic Jetty, and a fantastic dinner at a lovely seaside restaurant.

🏄 Crescent Head
A true surfer hotspot with one of the longest right-hand surf breaks in Australia and an incredibly relaxed beach atmosphere.

🌅 Port Macquarie
Exploring the lighthouse and coastline, playing lawn bowling like locals, and discovering the famous painted rocks along the promenade – with dolphins occasionally appearing offshore.

🌿 Seal Rocks
A hidden coastal gem: the stunning Sugarloaf Lighthouse, wild coastline and tropical rainforest surroundings.

⚓ Newcastle
Walking along the Breakwater Promenade, visiting the historic lighthouse, and exploring the charming old town district.

🌉 Sydney – the grand finale
Walking across the Harbour Bridge, standing in front of the iconic Opera House, discovering The Rocks historic quarter, relaxing at Bondi Beach, rooftop dinner at Glenmore Hotel, ferry ride to Manly Beach and swimming in the oceanfront pool, dinner at Hugos Manly, visiting Sydney’s oldest pub Fortune of War, and ending our trip with an unforgettable fine-dining experience at ARIA with a view of the Opera House.

Australia gave us incredible landscapes, unforgettable cities and amazing moments.

Breezing through Byron Bay?! I recently checked out @thepasscafebyronbay to fuel up before the beautiful coastal walk which starts within walking distance of this local gem!

Nestled at The Pass (funnily enough) this spot is ideal for walkers & surfers alike. Enjoying the decking, I felt close to nature, even making a couple new flying friends!

I tried their breakfast burger 🍔 it was packed with flavour & layers of deliciousness. This burger had big bite energy, a popular crowd pleaser and one of the OG dishes on the menu! And good value too at $20.

I got a side of chips too for a lil’ extra, they were a tad salty for my taste so only ate a few! However, I had a lovely iced chai latte to enjoy alongside.

After enjoying the walk to the most Easterly point in Australia and Cape Byron Lighthouse, I grabbed a tasty matcha at The Pass’s sister cafe and enjoyed the panoramic views.

This is definitely somewhere to take a well-earned rest after your walk! Grab some binoculars & spot some (seasonal) whales or dolphins! All the staff were super friendly and had such a welcoming vibe! I’d definitely recommend checking them out 🤙
