1 whole year! Time flies when you’re having fun with your best friend 🤍

October 16th 2026. The wedding I dreamed about came to life.

Venue: @capenhouse was absolutely stunning and just amazing all around. Blew me away the moment I saw it!

Hair: @naomi.doeshair was fantastic! I saw her work online and just knew she’s who I wanted. She came out and not only felt like part of the crew but made everyone’s hair look amazing. And my hair was still holding well by the end of the night!!

Make up: Danielle Simmons (can’t seem to find her on insta) her and her friend came in and did a fantastic job! They were quick and had us all done so nicely!

Photos: @mijares_productions (photos coming soon) Kevin is an absolute legend guys. Like seriously! Not only is he an amazing person to just have as a friend but as a photographer he’s just hands down the best! There’s a reason he’s so busy all the time lol I am SO excited to see it all! Thank you for helping out so much and becoming part of our family now!

The day went so smooth. I was surprised how well it worked and how everyone came in and made sure it all worked out! Thank you so much!!

I think the only thing that went wrong was the cake and if that is the only thing to happen I’m a super happy camper! Thank you all for joining us and making a wonderful day! ❤️❤️❤️ much love from this tired bride…. Now off to universal studios with the fam!

The details are never just the details. They’re the flowers you spent months imagining, the menu you picked because it had all of your favorite things, the place settings you changed your mind about probably five times, the cake you almost forgot to eat, and the disposable cameras that somehow ended up in everyone’s hands by the end of the night.

They’re all of these tiny things you spent so much time choosing, arranging, planning, and making feel like you. And then the wedding day comes, everything starts moving a million miles an hour, and you barely have a second to actually look at any of it.

I think that’s why I love photographing the details so much. Not because everything needs to be perfectly styled or Pinterest-worthy, but because you chose those things for a reason. They were part of the space your favorite people gathered in. They helped make that day feel like your day.

And eventually the glasses are empty, the cake is eaten, the candles burn out, the flowers start to wilt, and everyone goes home.

But the little things were part of the story too. 🤎
