Had a awesome day back on the range for a 22lr match @txprecisionmatches. I ended up taking home top junior and 2nd place overall I was very happy to tie @pdoodle10_longrange and fantastic job Payton!!! I finished the day with 7 misses and 2 stages where I timed out which shows what I need to work on and improve. My squad was also really nice to be with, which I also believe that helped me especially with my fav Wren! #girlswhoshoot #bangbang #22lr #loveshooting❤️ #zerocompromiseoptic

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to compete in the first TX Precision match under its new ownership, and it was one of the best-run matches I’ve attended, with one of the best courses of fire I’ve ever shot!

The course of fire was challenging and made you earn every impact, but every stage was extremely fair and cleanable if you were on your game. I had an absolute blast getting to shoot with Squad 1! While I’m not satisfied with my overall performance, I learned a lot this past weekend and came away with a much better understanding of what I need to work on to continue improving.

All of my equipment ran flawlessly all weekend! Keeping my gear squared away and my rifle shooting my expectations has been a journey this past year. There’s something incredibly rewarding about showing up to a match with complete confidence in your gear, knowing that every point you drop is entirely on you. It allows you to focus on your performance, take responsibility for your mistakes, and learn.

My new barrel that Gage cut for me has been absolutely phenomenal! With SDs consistently under 5 and groups consistently measuring .25 MOA or smaller, I couldn’t be happier with how it’s performing. Having equipment that performs this consistently gives me a great deal of confidence!

Had a fun day on the range @txprecisionmatches with a few ups and downs. I felt pretty good with how I shot for not shooting center fire since March. I also had a little bit of a battle with the wind but ended up taking home top lady for my first ever lady win! #girlswhoshoot #bangbang #wiebadgear #zerocompromiseoptic #lovetoshoot

A little behind on the post but the other weekend I headed down to @gadsdenshootingcenter where @bozedoug put on an absolutely awesome MOST Rimfire match in the woods!!

These matches are always tricky! Hard to read winds and what I believe to be Voodoo magic make these matches very interesting, but always a blast! Thank you Doug for an incredible event!

The weather was amazing, along with great guys in my squad made for a finale to remember! I started out the day a little rough with some data issues which cost me some points! By stage three things were dialed and I started gaining some ground, not nearly as much as I had hoped but still finished pretty decent!

HUGE shout out to @april_weatherby for all her hard work and dedication to planning this event, putting together a prize table and amazing food for the shooters! THANK YOU APRIL!!

This is my first full season running my @l3i_design Swarm-22 and it has been great, when I say this rifle has been flawless I mean flawless, I’ve reached 12,000 rounds through it and I have had zero issues and it absolutely hammers!!

Thank you to all the amazing companies that have supported me through the years and the new ones that gave me a chance this year! Without you all I wouldn’t be able to chase this dream like I do and for that I’m forever grateful!

@l3i_design, @apex_optics, @spexlitefillers, @armageddongear, @caples_precision, @leofotooutdoors, @llcote1986 @182sapperz @coldboreinstitutions_llc
Thank you to each and every one of you! You’re some of the best people I’ve ever met and it’s truly a blessing to work with and represent all of you!! Looking forward for the 2027 season and to continue working with you all!! Can’t thank you all enough!!

Next stop will be K&M for the @precisionrifleseries @prs_rimfire national finale in Tennessee!! See you there and don’t forget to come check out the L3i side stage!!

A fun stage from the World Championship with some great ROs running it!

Stage 9: Caples Precision Pipe Rail

I enjoyed this 3-position, 3-target run. First position was one shot at each circle: near, middle, far. Second position was far, middle, near. And third was near, middle, far, far.

I missed the first shot at the far target, corrected my wind off of the miss, and ran the rest of the stage out.

I like stages like this because they’re simple, yet different from some of the more typical formats. One thing that was important to me when preparing for and shooting this stage was not forgetting that the last shot is a reengagement on the far target.

Most times, stages will be 9 rounds and you’re done after the first shot at the far target. This stage is a good example of knowing the COF well and staying focused enough to send that last shot.

Sometimes, it’s the last shot that matters most.

Stage 8 @fossilpointe 7/8 missed the first shot, cleaned the rest. Fun stage design. I WOULD POST THE TRIGGERCAM IF IT WORKED, I can’t get it to work 100% of the time. I would like to post full matches on YouTube if it worked.
