Comparing scar lengths from 50 years of ACL surgeries. Phil’s was 1968 and significantly longer than Carl’s in 2018. Kelsey will have her second leg done tomorrow and I’ll be hanging out with her as I was for the last one 16 years ago.

So thankful to share again in the world my men love - Bristol Bay sockeye run. I think you can tell by the video how Phil feels about it, no matter the weather.

The F/V Northwestern finished her tendering season and returns to Seattle.

You don’t realize how long the Northwestern is until all the tending equipment is taken off the deck.....there’s so much room for activities!!! If you look closely you can see someone at the top. This was taken somewhere in the North Pacific Ocean on our ride home from Cordova to Seattle....I’m still wanting to the see the Inside Passage at some point, but our trip out in the open ocean was surprisingly smooth. So calm that Edgar had us lower the boom to clean it haha. We just barely beat the weather fortunately and had plenty of sights to see along the way.

Fond memories of this day 3 years ago. Wishing a Happy Anniversary to Toni and Pete! Mad at CoVid for squelching their plans to come visit.
