What a blur. A beautiful blur. This was my 20th year playing @thefestfl , kinda hard to wrap my head around that. I’m missing it already 😂

Just feeling grateful on this Sunday to have gotten some non-show hangs in with our buds @badcopbadcop after @fourthcornerpunkfest. Love yall! We’re both playing @punkrockholiday in a week or so - here’s to another body of water hang!

here’s a clip from my first day of song learning, in prep. for a tour I did a little while back with the great @waronwomen 🔥💃🔥 (this, the scorcher 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗟 𝗠𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘) 👊🏻💥

it’d been several years since I’d toured this intensity of crazy upbeat rock/ punk music as a drummer, but (thankfully) I had no problem with the drumming stamina; the much harder part, as it turned out…was just 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵! lol 😶‍🌫️✨😂

+ joining an obvious band-family situation as a sub felt a little nerve-racking in the beginning, but everyone was super welcoming, warm, fu*king hilarious and genuinely hardworking. there are a 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 band I was stoked to be a part of it (especially since we got to play handful of Canadian gigs with (my heroes!) the 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦/ the incredible @voivodofficial 🤯🙏🏼💕!!

their sick new record (𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡) came out recently and they’re about to do a bunch of touring so if you’ve never seen them, 𝗚𝗢 ➡️ you’ll be glad you did 🙌🏼❤️ …and with big ups to @dylan_teggart and @mc20money for (always) 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 (and also to my man @chrisenriquezdrums for recommending me for the gig 🙏🏼❤️ ! RAD / good stuff.)
