I’m facilitating a free IRL workshop this Friday ! The theme is anti-censorship. We’re telling it like it is and getting sh*t off our chests. Happening at City Island’s library. It’s giving gay and white — perfect crossroad for disrupting a thing or two 🫶🏼 and prob getting some crab legs after cuz why not 🦀

TUESDAY! Ya girl is facilitating a workshop with PSNY. Free, virtual, and peculiar. I’m looking for your inner child and what makes them and their bestie/sibling/cousin laugh. I’m looking for old wives’ tales you firmly believe in. The recipe that sounds disgusting but tastes divine. The monologue you were told to silence under manners and medicine. The truth you’re too afraid to tell. The mundane and hilarious. Giggles. Colors. Screams. Rsvp in bio or 🎟️ https://shorturl.at/ZAO7k 🌀Thank you @poetrysocietyny Writing the Wild Way Let go of logic and lean into the wonderfully weird! This playful writing workshop invites participants to write the way we think—unfiltered, imaginative, and even nonsensical. Through whimsical and challenge prompts, we’ll embrace the odd, the joyful, and the unexpected. Expect laughter, linguistic twists, and poems that defy the rules in the best possible way. Come ready to write, experiment, and connect with a community of fellow poets in a supportive and inspiring space.

Through closed eyes, I see it all so clearly. 💙 📸 (c) Abigail Montes, 2025 What a gift it is to be seen when in hiding. To be remembered as your truest self. To honor the painful parts enough to turn them into a cherished memory. What a gift it is it to love and be loved. To create. To share. To feel.
