September is always a busy month but it’s always spent doing things I love.

Another London to Paris ticked off, mostly off road with @leadout.events, @grvl.apparel, @1816cycles and @aeightbikeco keeping the wheels turning.

450km, 4 days and plenty of premium French pastry to fuel the adventure.

Entries for 2027 are already open so head over to @leadout.events and join the fun.

London to Paris on Gravel stage 2 took us to the beautiful city of Rouen with plenty of cycling fun along the way!

90% of riders opted to use the bridge rather than the ride the river crossing but it’s your adventure and you do it your way. What would you have done, dry feet or wet feet, let us know?

What a great way to start this gravel bike adventure from @leadout.events. Heading south from Guildford on canal paths and old railway lines until we hit the coast, then along using the seafront on bike paths to Brighton, finishing at Newhaven ferry port before crossing to France and a night in a hotel.

Everything taken care of, hotels, luggage, cafe stops, backup mechanics, all you have to do is enjoy the riding!

We’re taking the trails less travelled later this week, joining our mates @leadout.events for 4 days of brilliant gravel riding all the way to Paris.

We’ve even designed a custom jersey for both ride captans and riders, keeping temperatures under control thanks to a unique blend of Merino and Tencel fibres.

Follow our journey on socials as we head south, stopping in at probably one too many boulangeries on the way.

The best ‘not a wedding’ wedding I’ve ever been to. So much fun. And couldn’t be happier for my bestest friends Charlotte and Tink. Chapeau 🥂

🚴 Meet David Kirkby aka Capt
Capt is a seasoned rider and a firm lover of everything on two wheels. He's been riding and racing bikes for more than 40 years and leading events on and off for more than 20 years. He's even ridden London to Paris over 30 times, so rest assured, you'll be in safe hands!

🚴 We asked Capt, what are you most looking forward to about this year's London to Paris Off Road?
"I'm really looking forward to the Leadout London Paris Off-Road event and being able to share these scenic trails with you all from England and across France."

Cycling can be a lot of things… and sometimes it can get wrapped up in a lot of pretension.

This, however, was everything cycling is — and everything it should continue to be: community, friendships (old and new), coffee, food, laughter, helping others, and just good old-fashioned gravel riding fun.

My first festival with @stonecircle.cc was an absolute highlight. An incredible event built around the things that make cycling special.

A massive thank you to the Stone Circle team for creating something so unique, to @captain1963 for the introduction, and for letting me capture a few shots with one of his stunning @1816cycles builds.

Here’s to more miles, more memories, and more moments like these. 🚲
