I've loved fishing for as long as I can remember. One day in September, @nopaynenogaiinz brought me to his favorite spot on the Vedder River. That week, I went 8 times in four days - before school for sunrise, then again after school before sunset. I'd stand in the water up to my waist in runners and sweats. I caught my first coho on the 8th visit, and to say I was hooked is an understatement. For the next few months, I went anytime I had a free moment. Over this time, my dad spoiled me with some proper gear - waders and boots. He would join me at the river, set up a fire, bring a wagon with a massive coffee urn, some bailey's, and freshly made breakfast sandwiches for anyone around. I made many new friends and introduced them to old friends. I ate fish for the first time in three years, caught sustainably by me! We camped, we danced, we laughed, we cooked and made so many memories. These special moments ultimately led me to seek out new adventures.. so, in early May, I'll be leaving to work at a fishing lodge in Haida Gwaii until September. I'm thrilled, a little nervous, but mostly excited for the special experiences soon to come!

LETS TALK BLOAT 🤔
Bloat is something we all get, it’s something that’s so uncomfortable and can be from many things 🤷🏼‍♀️ -food intolerances -over eating - large volumes of food/water at one time
-PMS -undereating -stress -constipation
For me it happens pretty frequently so I’m working on eating more smaller meals in the day, drink water gradually not in large volumes, PMS just have to roll with and trying to keep food fresh 😊
Little changes but it can make a big difference ❤️ Love your body it does so much for you! It’s still a learning process but it does get easier 💕

BE STRONG 💪🏼 Mentally and physically, in life there’s no shame in walking away from things that aren’t making you happy or doing you good 🤷🏼‍♀️ The moment you question your gut and intuition is the moment you trust your opinion more than your primal instincts.
We’ve survived 100% of the shit life’s thrown at us. All the downs and the ups and there’s so many more amazing things for us to see and memories to make 💕
Things are tough but believe me you’re stronger and we will see the other side of this uncertain time 🤩
If you’re struggling I’m always here 😊
