🎈Here's a #waybackwednesday Deftones performing "Change" at Pasadena Daydream Fest 8/31/19 ... this is the rarest of all Deftones video from my archive, as I usually don't film this song, there's always a million phones out for this one, plus, I usually just wanna enjoy it fully myself, so I mainly keep my phone put away whenever they perform this one. 💯

I chose to film it for a few reasons, one being that Deftones was performing during the day, and that's a rare thing to see, so I just HAD to capture as much as i could from this rate unique set.. but my main reason for it was that our brother @briandeftones 💚💚 flew all the way down from Philly for this special day, and so many of our dearest Familia and friends were all there with us, so I wanted to capture as many memories as I could from this momentous occasion.💚 🎶🤘🏼

Happy midweek, y'all!
One Love Always!

"Apocalypse Dreams" was the opener for @tameimpala 's set on Tuesday night @moda_center

JSYK, the portion between part I & II has an odd cut in between... reason is my battery was at 36% before the show, and I purposely cut a lot of cheering out so I wasn't wasting battery on something other than the music.

I'm already having major FOMO bcuz tomorrow, Tame Impala will be in Denver, then Monday at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, then Thursday in Dallas, and then lastly in Houston next Saturday and Sunday, before hitting AUS, UK and France. 😭😭😭 I need another show!

🤘🏻😎Happy Deftones Friday!!

Here's one I haven't shared in a lonnnnngggg time: Deftones performing Passenger LIVE. In fact, this moment right here was captured 10 years ago last week, when we took Sunnie to her FIRST Deftones show at Greek Theater LA for her 16th birthday, and you just KNOW we had to get her in the pit for this! 💯😁

When I first heard Passenger on my first spin of White Pony back in '01, I became instantly obsessed with it, it blew my mind completely, hearing Chino and Maynard singing together, as Tool was my other favorite band... I'd get made fun of by @captainoftheobvious because my favorite song was "two dudes singing about having sex in a car" but I didn't care, this song is and has always been incredibly sexy, imo! 💋

Then, at my first Deftones show in 2003, Chino even teased us by hollering "Mayyyyynarrrrdd... Mayyyyyyyynarrrrrrddd... come out, you pussy!" And i fccn LOST IT thinking he was bringing him out to sing, but he wasn't even there, lol. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Deftones performed Passenger that night, but Chino would just go mute during Maynard's vocal parts. This is something I witnessed him do for my first 2 Deftones shows.

Then FINALLY, on my birthday August 19th 2006 and my 3rd Deftones show, (aka the day I got to meet Deftones) they performed Passenger, but in my favorite way ever seeing it, which was when Chino screamed Maynard's vocals in his absence, and they were perfectly in tune!

And right after their set, when I ran down to meet them, after Chino wished me a happy birthday and I was about to walk off after being handed my autographed SNW Lithograph, I called out to Chino and told him how awesome I thought it was that he screamed Maynard's vocal parts on Passenger. He smiled wide and said "thank you! It was pretty hard, but I had a lot of fun." So did I, Chino. So did I!!!

Wishing you all the BEST DEFTONES FRIDAY yet, and the most excellent Labor Day Weekend ever! 🙏🏻💚💚💚

Cheers and One Love to All!

Here's a moment from my birthday show in Phoenix, when Rüfüs Du Sol performed at Mortgage Matchup Center, and guest services gave us a Press Box since everything was sold out and the venue had no ADA seating available.

This one's called "Underwater" and it's one of their best songs, in my opinion... a true favorite of mine.

I'm still in such awe over not only this brilliant night, but walking out of the venue expecting to get smacked with insane heat but instead, the universe gifted the desert with a much needed monsoon rainstorm with plenty of lightning, which has always been my favorite weather to witness. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

I had such a wonderful time with my handsome Babe @captainoftheobvious Thank You for making my birthday so special and fun, I love you so much. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Happy Monday! Here's another gem from David Byrne's set at Hollywood Bowl on Saturday... it's a classic "Once in a Lifetime"

Always loved this song. That simple bassline, the lyrics, the entire feeling of this track just makes me think "well, how did i get here?" 😄

What a fun show that was. I'm so grateful to have my Babe who loves the music and lives for moments like these, just as I do.

Thank you Babe for making this incredible show happen, I think it's my favorite of my birthday shows this year. 🥰🥰🥰

In January, when the lineup first dropped for Coachella 2026, I was SO thrilled to learn that David Byrne of Talking Heads would grace the stage for a historical set, and I honestly couldn't wait to finally have my chance to see him live..

Then in April, when the Saturday of our Coachella weekend was upon us, we'd left our suite with plenty of time to get to the fest, get in and get settled, and watch all the artists for whom we planned... but due to the overwhelmingly massive response of Justin Bieber fans coming in from across the globe on that day, we were hit with by FAR the most ridiculous traffic we'd ever witnessed in Indio for the festival, EVER. We still got to see pretty much everyone we wanted on that day, but we couldn't make it in time to physically see David Byrne perform Psycho Killer, (which was the FIRST TIME HE'D PERFORMED IT LIVE IN 19 YEARS) we DID hear it though as we were crossing the massive polo grounds toward his set, and we of course watched the entire remaining portion of his set.

But my Babe wasn't about to let that be the final word on David Byrne... he knew just how excited I was to have the opportunity to watch my favorite Talking Heads song be performed, and even though I was satisfied with just hearing it live, he wasn't about to let that be the end of it.

He searched him up, and saw that David Byrne would be performing at the Hollywood Bowl in August, and with that being my bday month, he pulled the trigger and bought us tickets.

And here it is, my long awaited and ever so full satisfaction from LAST NIGHT'S Hollywood Bowl show.

Night made. Bucket list checked. Done and done!

HUGE THANKS to my handsome thing @captainoftheobvious for giving me this awesome experience, you take such great care of me, and I love you so fccn much! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

My Babe and I flew out on my birthday (8/19) to see Rüfüs Du Sol in Phoenix and before we left i checked the weather, it was gonna be 109° during the day and 95° at night... ☀️🥵🌙

We enjoyed the show and walked out to a freaking MONSOON ⛈️rainstorm, with plenty of thunder🌩 and lightning⚡️. I'd been out to Phoenix several times before, but I'd never witnessed a storm out there before. It was spectacularly beautiful, and a most welcomed birthday gift from the universe! 🌌
